![]() he is one of the greatest talents ever to have touched the black and white pieces, so sad he couldn't give Carlsen a run for his money. on the other hand, he did kind of reach everything there was to reach already, maybe it was hard for him to get motivated enough. at the age of 44, after 40 years of playing chess... it really is a miracle that he hasn't burned out yet, he must have an incredible deep emotional connection with the game, something most of us probably won't ever experience with anything.. I want to remember him as the ferocious tiger he was e.g. during Anand-Kramnik. | ||
