but strength without skill in hockey is about as useful as a door without a wall. Stickhandling, shot power (which comes mostly from your wrists, not your arms), accuracy, passing, skating... these are all more important than strength. If you're strong, well, then thats a bonus... and you probably worked hard to be that way. But there are some really big guys in the NHL, nowadays. One player for the Senators is 6'9" and 260 lbs. ): | ||
