Can anyone confirm if that is footage from COD/MW? Feel like i've seen it before. It is, they ripped it right out of Modern Warfare 3. Basically they made a anti American video with American music, and a scene from a American video game.
At least they didn't play "America the Beautiful" like China did during a celebratory video for their space agency.

Its pretty much a yawn, they do this all the time. Making boundless threats, which in turn indirectly hyping and feeding news agencies.

Thing about Korean reunification isn't even (or at least, isn't "just") about whether NK, or China or whatever would "allow" it - it has just as much to do with the fact that it'd be a step backwards for SK. Of course most people in South Korea would say united Korea is something they dream to see one day etc, but the fact is it would impose a tremendous burden on a country that still remembers food and water shortages, is struggling to establish an efficient social security system and so on. Realistically, South Koreans do not want a united Korea; after all, they'd be the ones paying all the bills.

At this point I wonder if the U.S. isn't feeding North Korea weapons under the stipulation that North Korea makes silly broadcasts like this. Then, the U.S. government can placate its citizens by introducing several more laws that take away several more liberties all the while being lauded for not letting the dust settle on its boots in the face of terrorism. Thanks, father Washington.
edit: To those confused, this is complete speculation, bordering on paranoia. But, what if... @.@

Only south koreans can say if they want or do not want a reunification. They are well aware of the implications of joining north and south.
About NK nuking USA, no way this is going to happen. But if NK indeed tries (and USA obviously defends with ease), it will be "interesting" to see the aftermath:
1. Will USA invade NK? 2. If USA decides to invade NK, what will China do? Will China support USA or NK? 3. If China supports NK, will USA confront China? 4. If USA and China enter in war, will we see a nuclear war? 5. If we have a nuclear war, will the world end? Or will we live in a post-apocaliptic Fall Out like world? 6. And which countries would get nuked? I sincerely hope no one deflects nukes to South America because I doubt we can defend against it :[
But again, I highly doubt any of the above will happen...

With all due respect this so far past paranoia... Maybe even past tin-foil hattery...

But again, I highly doubt any of the above will happen... Attempt may happen, but if anything, China would intercept the procedure or the missile itself. China supports NK to some degree only because they want NK to ward off the US influence, not give a reason for them to invade.
And if US actually uses this threat to send troops to reinforce SK (whether they take NK seriously or not, they may like to use the excuse), China would likely step in and take action to make NK much more low profile in their hostility.
If a war happens, it would be a very short war of China invading NK and forcefully rewiring their government to a become more obedient neighbour.

I dont think any of that will happen. I think china is just as tired of NK as everybody else. I mean, the country is ruled by a family of crazy people. Its a bit too late to retract their alliance. So if the US of A attack NK with support from other nations, I highly doubt china will do anything. They will prob send weapons and aid to help NK so they wont "loose face" but they wont attack or send in troops to ingage combat directly with the nations that attack NK.
Everybody love to talk about war with some of the most powerfull nations in the world. America, china, etc. Thing is, its just not gonna happen. Its would be like stabbing your conjoined twin in the heart.
And thats only with NK actually will get attacked. They only do this to flex muscles, and to remind the SK and the world that they still are there, and that they want to matter. They dont like being ignored for too long.

This is what my one friend said about North Korea
North Korea has become that kid in highschool who always said he'd shoot up the school, but never got around to it.

I'd say more this one than the former, they can't really shoot anyone up.

Same could be said for east germany with west germany and they are still paying the bills but is that a big issue?

Anti-american video containing american music, an american city in an american video game, with a space shuttle probably containing american technology, created probably with american software and posted on an american website for an american audience.

Nuclear weapons should never be taken lightly.

At this point the gap between SK and NK is much bigger. Just looking at this image it's pretty clear :
