Hopefully Gold will be similar. Gold is really really normal until after Azalea after that it gets pretty crazy. Its that nice mix of completely broken and still recognisable.

Yeah, there was no donation incentive for the name so there are definitely some name limitations--pretty sure he chose ysg explicitly to troll though

Especially considering the non-DMD difficulty and starting with (almost) max health, you'd figure that an experienced player could exhibit some cool combos/risky strats. Most of the gameplay I've seen is spamming gold orbs, DT explosions, and holy waters instead of the pretty awesome and precise combat strategies DMC3 allows for. I mean missing nearly every guard against doppelganger was just painful. You're entirely right. I did a poor job on a few of the levels. Some of them were ok in hindsight but the ones that went bad just went horrible. The Doppelganger fight was a real mess especially. I feel bad for the guys who really expected a lot from the run gameplay. I did try to get to a good level in time, it just didn't come out how I wanted during the marathon. Probably didn't put in enough practice. Oh well.
