Why not roam the wild-west world with an optimistic and over the top attitude towards everything? So long as you have the raw skill to do crazy feats of awesomeness (like dodging bullets and shooting guns out of people's hands) to keep yourself alive, of course.

(OVA, Universe - not sure about Tokyo). Or maybe Lord Il Palazzo from Excel. Seems like nice lives, if a little exciting from time to time. (Third choice maybe Ranma, but I'm on the fence there.) Best Anime/Video Game character (that I don't want to be)? Faye Valentine. (Sure, Spike's got an interesting backstory, but Faye has a pretty complex backstory herself.)
