The main problem is not that certain games are include, it's that others are not included, both Mass Effect 3 and Oblivion are certainly worthy of most top 100 lists with the huge following they created. Both have become more than just "games" they became cultural phenomenons. Not saying that makes them better than other games but it makes it justifiable to put them on such lists. | ||

Whether or not Ocarina of Time...etc should be in it's respective decade, that's up for debate (though it seems most people agree on that point). I'm pretty sure it is at the top of the list, unless for some reason the "definitely" votes don't actually mean that people voted for the game. Edit: Never liked polls where all games are grouped together. The different genres have different amount of fans, basically making the best game of the genre with most fans win (generally). For the same reason you will never see an rts game win something like this. Too few playing it! | ||

If you took the time to actually read the entire article, as I pointed out in my OP on this same subject, you would realize that yes, in fact, "definitely" means something other than what you think it means. The article starts HERE. And as you scroll through each game you can see that the vote is merely for "Should X be on the list?". So yes, it is at the "top of the list" if you sort it by number of votes but that doesn't mean people think it's "better" than games with less votes. All that means is more people voted on it being on the list than other games. When I went through the slide show, I didn't vote on every game, I voted for maybe 20 or so, some yes, some no. And since Oregon Trail is the 1st game in the slide show, it's no surprise it has so many votes. Again, you're looking at it from the wrong perspective. | ||
