Goldeneye, reinvented the first person and made it fun. Baldur's Gate 2, most fun and engaging game I've ever played. I guess at least one of them made the list, but missing the other two invalidates it for me. ME3? Seriously?

Dune 2, Ultima Online, Grim Fandango should all be in there. And what the heck is solitaire doing in there? there is nothing original about a PC version of solitaire. The whole list is just bizarre. Also AFAIK the 11 million figure listed for starcraft sales includes brood war expansion pack? sales of original somewhere around 7-8 million if i remember correctly. The whole article is littered with errors as are many of the entries for other games.Sloppy.

Anyway, voting ONE game as the best of all time is dumb. It's like voting for the best human of all time.

Also i didn't find baldurs gate2 so fuck that list :D no self respecting game can possibly think oblivion is anything but pathetic... I'm gonna keep myself from going on a rant here but once i read some dude harping on oblivion like a retard making some pretty bad points, but then there were the legions of brainless morons defending oblivion thinking it is some kind of thinking man's game and the people who don't like it are all adhd cod-kids. A monkey could finish oblivion and would probably enjoy the pretty colors. Fuck oblivion fans. Still better than Skyrim, at least.

Games like Star Tropics, Wonderboy, Golden Axe, TMNT Arcade, Zelda, Super Mario 3. Ultima IV takes on average 100 hours to finish. 3) Really? Online play is your argument? go outside In the 80s and even sooooooo far back as the 90s people did this cool thing where they would get together and play games...in person! It's a novel concept for sure. In all seriousness, you should've seen how packed arcades were and how competitive people were over Galaga or Ms. Pac-Man. NES created a 4-controller adapter for 4 player games like Gauntlet...holy crap, how is Gauntlet not on this list. I could go on and on but seriously, video games were a family activity in households lucky enough to have an Atari or NES. I played games with my parents, grandparents, uncles...etc. Games brought people together -- which I could argue they do the opposite now. 4) My wife and I (32 years old) have a retro video game night once a month and host about 10-15 people who come over to play games like Sonic, Toe Jam & Earl, Zombies Ate my Neighbors!, and Super Mario Bros 2. This entire thread about ranking games is very silly. I'd just like to say that you sir sound like a baller
