I hope many of you know of him at least for being the inspiration for Ken Masters from Street Fighter. He was an amazing martial artist and will be missed.

Wanted to add some to this.
He was the cream of the crop a Heavy weight that was considered the "Muhammad Ali of his sport".A 17 year career in karate where he earned more awards and titles than anyone else in the sport.He studied in Okinawa with Eizo Shimabuku, Kinjo Chinsaku and Seiyu Oyata and later he also studied with the Bruce Lee. Later on his career included some movies as well.
