Why wouldn't people just sit down, when its a usual toilet? They should. It's disgusting when the toilet is full of urine, because some people have a sprinkler. For me it's impossible to hit 100 % all the time. So I sit. | ||

There's no reason for men to stand while peeing. I don't understand why men stand to pee. I always sit at home. What blows my mind the most is when men try to act like there is some level of masculinity that is obtained by standing while peeing, LOL. If you can't feel manly while peeing, you got bigger problems. Good post haha. | ||

Personally I sit at home (because I know the seat is 100% clean and I dont want to bother aiming or having to deal with a..... miss-aim), stand everywhere else. If I could have known everyone else always sat at public toilets I might have have sat there too. But knowing most stand, seeing and smelling the pee around the toilet, no thanks. You know, the problem is that once the first few men stand and splatter, more will stand, and then even more will stand. If you could actually enforce sitting on public toilets they'd be soooo much more clean. But I guess those manly men needing to feel masculin has to ruin that. | ||

but yeah I can't speak for the general population, just some of my friends (~25 yr olds).. one thing though, when offered a pissoir and a closed booth, most swedes will choose the closed booth even if they stand up and pee. | ||
