What economics plan? Steal from the rich?
asking them to pay an increased tax percentage is now "stealing from the rich"
okay let's eliminate all taxes because the government is just stealing my hard earned money!!!!1!!!
Pretty interesting video:
Good luck running youre favorite country on earth with that badass military you want when we pay no taxes lmao. Get real.
I didn't say I am opposed to taxes. I support reasonable taxes, but I recognize the fact that they are theft.
That's not a fact. Do you know what a fact is?
Stealing: To take (another person's property) without permission. Tax: A compulsory contribution to state revenue.
Swazi, his point is that the definition of "stealing" isn't the kind of thing that can be a fact, even if you think it's true.

Theft is ok as long as its a reasonable amount.
You heard it here first.
Never mind that our tax rates remain relatively low compared to much of the rest of the developed world and our upper brackets pay substantially less now than they did for around 50 straight years prior to the mid 80s. I guess 2 generations never noticed the obvious thievery...

Did you just take this definition from Oxford dictionary? Because here's the actual full definition for "to steal": "to take (another person’s property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it". Sorry, there's nothing factual about claiming taxes are theft.

I don't think anyone is claiming that non-truth-evaluable particles of discourse, such as the word 'theft', can be a fact.
Whether or not a given action constitutes a theft seems like a perfect candidate for being a fact though, even if you misguidedly build epistemology into your definition of 'fact'.

No, it can be a fact that a given action meets the definition of "theft" within a particular discursive community, but that an action is a theft cannot be a fact: it is an ethical claim and therefore not a fact by definition.
edit: this is independent of the relativeness or non- of morality

He and I have had this discussion already. I don't believe he buys into it.
