i'm exaggerating, but he actually was doing a decent job. for some reason I feel very giddy about tonight. Obama did well, Romney did well, America is probably fucked, but who cares? we're alive tonight and this is one fun fucking election. Schieffer was by far the best of the moderators. With the exception of the "Bombing Iran" question he was spot on.
Agreed. He did very well tonight.

Tie because it was so boring.

rawr I was bored out of my mind this debate. Prediction: it won't have any effect on the polls.

Even without gallup no president has ever won polling where Obama is currently. A tie is a big win for Romney.

Obama had some sick one-liners. Obama wins in my book, cuz of the most awesome burns.

Manipulating your currency to hurt other countries and better your own isn't good. Its not a legitimate tool is basic market forces to discourage countries building up their entire economy based on nothing but exports. Obama is trying to stop china from doing it and hes gotten them to go half way on it. But they're still cheating in economics to keep their econ growth artificially high.
i agree with you that this kind of policy is unprofitable for some countries, its called "beggar thy neighbor -policy" for a reason, but everytime it comes up in this debates it sounds like its some illegal thing, which it isn't. And in my opinion one country is not supposed to tell another one for how much money they have to sell their currency.

You mean the jobs? No. Any economist that is respectable in any sense has said that Romney is full of it.

Actually, plenty of presidents have won from this position, as evident from the RCP and 538 aggregates.
Dewey beats Truman, anyone?
