There's no point in even responding to anything you have said. It literally has nothing to do with what I just said to you.
Obama is a muslim? check. Obama is a communist? check. Obama is a secret terrorist who let his friends kill our citizens check.\ Obama is a murder? check.
These are all things you have claimed to be true. I'm embarrassed for you. Your tinfoil can probably be seen from another galaxy.

As for turning this into a warning fest...I've been warned and banned for past things I said. I just want the mods to be impartial, which is impossible to ask because TL mods are notorious for being bad. You have anything to back up this statement? All my friends who voted Republican last election followed suit with me and voted Obama this election. As far as I can tell, from my point of view only, there's enough people like me disgusted with the Republican party and abandoning it than those swapping their 2008 votes from Obama to Romney. Polls also seem to agree with me. Edit: You got banned by those commie mods. Ah well
You obviously didn't see the polls on planet Kolob.

Just got done here voting in Florida Precinct 543. Two and a half hours standing in line, under shade thankfully. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by people I enjoyed and had great conversations in that time. Once I got into the physical building it was literally a ton of confusion from all the elderly people(a lot). People who had no fucking idea that the ballot was going to be essay reading time. On top of that once you register in the book to get your ballot you got a slip where you would then have to wait in line to receive your ballot. I have nothing against handicapped people but there was one taking the slip, putting his initials on it, watching you put your initials on it and then checking it with your ID. He was basically the gatekeeper to getting your ballot and starting to vote. This is not a job for a clearly handicapped person in a time sensitive situation. There was a perfectly capable guy of doing the EXACT same thing this handicapped man was doing but all he was doing was shuttling people into one line or another. Did I mention that they ran out of pens and people had to wait for other people to finish voting so they could get a pen? The volunteer who was shuttling people into lines lent me his so I wouldn't have to wait. I assume they'll run out by tonight. While 5 stations were going unused out of about 15-20. I took 3 minutes to fill out my ballot and that's with my not having to read anything since I went prepared knowing exactly who and what I was going to vote. I can't imagine people seeing the amendments for the first time, reading them and actually making their mind up on the spot.
Never in my life have I seen this type of bullshit with my own eyes. So talk is all well and good but, nothing will get done. Wrong, this bullshit has finally convinced me that I will be volunteering for Election Day for the rest of my adult life. I sincerely hope other people do the same. Get your friends and do it together. It's the only way to make things go smoother on Election Day. That and of course not having corrupt ass Rick Scott and a Republican Legislature but that's another topic.
BTW for those curious, enjoy our ballot. 1st and 2nd page differs county to county, everything past the third page is what EVERY Floridian sees.

Watching news, Hrrrrm's post, year 2000 confusion, I have to wonder if Florida have particular problem with handling election. A news said 4 hours for voting at somewhere in Florida. Are officials that incapable of estimating the voter turnout? If it wasn't for Florida where it's not freezing cold in November, many more would have gone home after 1-2hours.

No. Some people here had their houses destroyed but they are staying at family members/neighbors house. I know one girl from my class has 14 people currently at her house. No power though. Nobody is mad or upset at the government for anything.

I think the main issue with Florida is it's always extremely close, and it's worth so many electoral votes the candidates and the people expect the counting to be extremely precise.

Not at Obama anyways - more at Bloomberg... the marathon business.. Manhattan getting most of the attention (which is an empty envy, downtown being out costs so much money a day), etc.
Most of the people I know voted in the morning before coming to work. I wonder if I should have done that

If you truly look at the numbers, voting for Gary Johnson won't do crap. You'll be one of the few who actually vote for him. Either Romney or Obama is getting elected. So use your vote wisely for the 2 people that matter. I'm just telling people to be logical with their vote. You have the freedom to vote, don't throw that freedom away by being stupid with it. 5% of the vote for a party gets them public funding and a chance at the debates. But you probably already know that because you clearly know everything such as "obama lies and romney doesn't". It's a sad state of affairs when entire states have the same thought process as you do. Voting not on facts but what the tv tells you. It's so sad it's funny. You wanna talk about TV? None of the liberal news stations have once reported on the whole Libya thing. Not once. Fox news has. All the liberal news stations can talk about is how Obama is such a good guy for helping with Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. But then they say Romney is horrible for helping. You wanna talk about believing what's on TV? How about you stop being so blind and look at how much Liberal news stations won't report ANYTHING that can hurt Obama. By the way, the recovery effort for Hurricane Sandy going good? Are you insane? Turn on the TV. There are people dying every day. I don't care what Obama wants you to believe, people have been interviewed and are DYING. They are eating out of the trash because of how poorly run this recovery effort is. And now there's a winter storm coming, and more will die. Don't talk about a good recovery effort, that's a downright lie. NYC dweller here. Recovery efforts are going on here and no one is really dying. Idk where you get your news from. In consideration - NYC's got a ton of infrastructure. More worried about Staten Island and the other states. A lot of the houses in staten island got destroyed but every single person in my class who was from staten island made it to class and said they were staying at family members/neighbors. No power in a lot of places as well.
I wonder how long it'll take to get power back to them.. I know parts of Long Island is looking at 2 more weeks.
