So i was looking around for something to improve my mouse skills and found this.

Remember to look on the left for PRO and other types! And the Cross-Hair modifier for all you FPS enthusiasts.
I was surprised on how well it works (and how BAD i am.) Just after a few minutes playing it i honestly felt my mouse skills improve. Also it really helped me to figure out the best DP!/Sensitivity that I feel comfortably with.

Nice find. Mind you I prefer to use Quakeworld over flash games. Pointing & clicking is just one kind of aiming, you've got tracking and predictive aim to take into account aswell. Mind you pointing & clicking is pretty much the only thing you do in Starcraft. Then again that's coming from someone who isn't a starcraft player.

Yer! I thought that I was quite a good shot in fps games and selecting single moving units. This test just embarrasses you! lol
Fast is so hard. I was doing it when i realized i didn't even hit 1 and was decreasing my score so i stopped lol. Then I saw one "within" reach and missed again.
looks like the site is down I was playing earlier for a while. Failed HARD at fast aiming like everybody. My best was +1200 i believe, but most other tries were in the negative
Your windows sensitivity and your sc2 sensitivity is different therefore "working" on being faster with this isn't the most efficient way to get better. Just play a fuck ton of games

Not hard to change your setting until it feels the same. my starcraft cursor feel exactly the same as my windows cursor. Don't know about you.

I would tend disagree, in part. Obviously this little game isn't going to translate instantly into becoming "better" at sc2. The fast aim trainer isn't just about speed, it's about being extremely fast + accurate at the same time. It's hard to deny that working hard at this little "game" greatly improves your hand/mouse - eye coordination. Just because there is a sensitivity difference between windows and sc2 doesn't mean this improvement won't translate well. I can tell you straight up that after playing this for about 2 hours earlier I already notice my eyes being able to follow my cursor much better, and therefor helping my limit my excessive mouse movements to a degree. Now obviously one shouldn't be opening up this trainer in between every ladder game, but planning a practice session perhaps once a week or once daily before hopping on sc2 I believe may be greatly useful.
Also it's worth noting that you're improvement is easily measured in these trainers, whereas unless you have very specific, thorough, and well thought out sc2 mechanics training, mass gaming isn't going to improve your speed + accuracy effeciently, especially when most games are played with distractions such as build / strategy / critical thinking, etc.
The inability to turn mouse acceleration off on MacOSX makes these kinds of things impossible for me Luckily my new PC is in this week and I'll have another go
ahh screw that game. couldnt get above 10 the first few times then got 210 on 4th or 5th try. have to stop now or ill go til i get 1000 or something lol
This game is intence lol, I made it to lvl 9 but after that it was too much. My hands are pretty slow though so I would think most people can beet that
Ok WTF the fast aiming one is so hard.... I mean i havent played FPS games in awhile but i suck dick. This is pretty cool and im going to play it until i feel better about myself lol. Sending my work hours well : )
Really nice game, specially the fast aim one. (still have to manage a positive score on that one... ) Very good training I think.
Otherwise my favorite is clickMeR (I think the first hit on google is legit). The nice thing with clickmer is that you get to use your left hand on the keyboard at the same time as you use your mouse, which I havent seen any other mouse accuracy game do.
I'm usually skeptical about these sort of things, especially since these mini games and SC2 micro are in completely different contexts, but I must admit this game worked great at getting both my eyes and mouse hand warmed up to play SC2. Everything in SC2 looked so much larger, slower and easier to click on afterward which is a great thing!

I turn my sc2 sensitivity off so i'm always using the same sense.

Good games, I like practicing them. Does anyone know of some that you can play full screen? Would more simulate the wider movements you'd be doing in an actual starcraft 2 match.

You can change resolution but that's not really what you want...
I can get 50k+ on exakt aim and hit like 1-2 targets on fast aim =) Think you need a couple of years FPS to get that one ^^
I saw Snute playing Osu! at Gfinity 3 - he looked really good at it as you might expect, and it seems good fun - though I did not know Swarm Hosts needed good mouse control Got to try it to see if this improves my mouse skills both for SC2, Call of Duty and Visual Studio!
I prefer to play inside Starcraft, mainly because my settings outside of it are kinda different, at least noticeable, also because I don't care about my mouse accuracy anywhere else so I came up with this boring, but effective trust me, method in the Unit Test Map, here's what I do:
I build 3 units of a type until I get bored of a particular type. I start with 3 drones next to a hatchery, I put them on patrol on different directions (horizontal, vertical and diagonal), I make sure I start the patrol with a delay for each. Then I go to the hatchery and start rallying randomingly to those units, after a rally (success or failed) I reset the rally by clicking on the hatchery.
The advantage of the rally vs let's say clicking on something is that if you move then it'll attack so you've no feedback besides the green circle, so with rally you know instantly as the line moves with the unit.
Then I start clicking on overlords and I make overlords (which I rally away) on a finished cycle. Same thing for the rest of the units, I build drones, lings, banes and speelings, after I finish my round I mixed them up, so I have 1 drone 1 speeling and 1 bane, and I start all over again, it has so far really helped as lame as it might sound it has helped win some ling/bane battles I never dreamed of .
You try to do it as fast as you can, and I'm pretty sure you gain a lot.
EDIT: you can add a creep tumor if you the delay difference of the patrol isn't enough challenge, so you randomly click on a static target too. BTW good luck with speelings, and make sure they interleave (i.e curve) with the other units.
