why would the initial driver just run over a kid like that.. that second driver, ... i guess he could say he didnt see him or something (which is very fkin stupid since its obvious as hell) which might be a slight.. tiny.. minuscule excuse but that first person is dumb.. as for all the other people who go past.. fkin idiots..

Something is just wrong. People in families take care of each other. Friends take care of each other. Back in the days tribes took care of their members. But when society gets bigger than family/friends/tribes it all breaks down. We have to remember that caring for total strangers is something new. It's just a hundred years ago that the world was completely different. I guess this new view on humanity comes with wealth and security, but it hasn't reached the third world yet for obvious reasons, not to mention it's still largely absent in the western world.

why? coz in China you kill a people in accident may pay 200,000 Yuan, but if you hurt a people in serious injured, you may pay 500,000 Yuan. So there is one word in driver, kill people better than hurt them.

So he actually benefits from "finishing the job" so to speak.

I think he want "finish the job", but he is so frighten..maybe stupid...., he choose the knife instead of crush 2nd times, so he was judge to die.

Once I was in Chengdu/Chongqin, and i talked with a taxi-driver, i was joking with him like "woow the traffic is so chaotic here, how can you drive here full-timely" he was like "yeah, i know but i have to feed my family you know, i hope i wont hit anybody, but if i hit someone, i hope he would be dead, otherwise my life is ruined"... it took alot time until i understood what he meant. I have talked with alot drivers in China, all of them are poorly payed and overworked. "victim better be dead" became a common sense in China.

![]() I feel very sorry for the kid but you can't really blame the people. If your laws punish the good samiritans, people very quickly learn not to be one.
