I tried being friends with my ex for a year, but it didn't work out in the long run. For it to become a friendship I had to let go of old habits in our relationship and move on emotionally. I want to be friends with her, but it's not possible the way it was so I told her that for our relationship to morph into friendship I need to not see her for some time, started with 3 months. A friend of mine said. You're a drug addict, you need to lay of them drugs for the possibility of friendship. It's true and it feels a lot better now. | ||

Found this new chick. She has that special quality to her. I don't want to say i love her, but I could see that happening. I'm not saying she is perfect, she's close. She has absolute trust in me. I want to get close to her. Closer then I am now. She has me in my head, mindfucking me. She has me playing love songs, just wanting to look into her eyes. A nagging suspicion tells me I will never have that chance. I am going to call her tomorrow, and move thing forward, hopefully to something with some long lasting potential. If you're already cuddling and massaging each others necks kissing is suddenly no big deal and it won't be hard to make that small next step because of all the positive feedback you already got. Try to avoid stuff like never having touched her before and suddenly moving in for a kiss. Also you're French, just let your genes do the work. =P PS: Sofas and cocktails/movies are the ultimate crutch for escalation. It makes everything so much easier if you're really in trouble. | ||

Girls don't drop random sexual hints to guys only for fun. What else is she supposed to do? Slip you a note which says "yes, there is something that kind of puts you into the guys-which-i-am-attracted-to-category. please see this paper at least as a slight hint that it is not off chart for you to do or say stuff that moves us into this direction"? What else besides clear subtle hints do you need? her picking you up?? And even if you realized quickly it does not work, better tried it than tell everyone and their mother "there was this girl, but i always was too afraid and/or didn't know if she liked me back" FIND IT OUT! Regarding this topic, failing 14 times and having a great experience the 15th time is far better than not doing anything 15 times. Besides, every time you're rejected (face it, that will happen to everybody. at least to the people that TRY AND DO), it builds you up as a person. because what happens after a rejection? uh, nothing. | ||
