We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on.
Posts of the following nature are banned:
1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post.
2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no.
3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture.
4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments.

Maybe use this as an opportunity to broaden your horizons? There's a lot more out there than just games, and as cool as it seems now to be plat+ in LoL it really shouldn't be the deciding factor in meeting other people.
Watch some movies, read some magazines (not gaming related), pick up an instrument, take a course you wouldn't normally pick if it's possible. You might be surprised how quickly you can find new interests/passions. At the very least, you'll have more to talk about with other people.

Pretty sure he meant sc2 if you read the last paragraph, which probably doesn't help his case since the sc2 playerbase is pretty small at this point (and I have no idea what plat means in LoL).
But really, choosing a girl based on how good she is at one particular hobby (especially one so niche) is just dumb. Choosing a girl who doesn't mind you playing games or takes interest in your hobbies is what you should look for.

This may seem a little counter-intuitive right now, but I'm of the strong opinion that the last kind of girl that you want to date (at least in terms of looking for a serious relationship) is a hardcore gamer. In fact, it's better to keep your girlfriends/spouses out of gaming altogether for the most part.
I'm curious as to why you think this? Surly having something you can bond over and talk about, something you're both passionate about, it's something you'd want? I agree it is silly to look for girls who are particularly good only, or who are hardcore gamers, but having a girlfriend who shares an interest in your gaming habits can't be that bad?

There are just better things to bond over. More to the point, gaming takes up a lot of time. If your girl is any good at games, she probably plays too much of them, which means that she's not doing a lot of other things that you may want her to do. If she's not good, then it probably is rather boring to play with her (I know this one from experience -- I bought a wii specifically to play with my wife, but I abandoned that little experiment really fast).

Stay away from gamer girls. Big time. They get way too much attention from sex starved nerds and think way too high of themselves. Very annoying to attract and deal with.

There are things she isn't doing because of gaming that you'd want her to do? Do you not think this could apply to you too though? I am aware a lot of girls who date geeky guys have this complaint about them. Maybe playing 1 on 1 with them will get boring for you if she is bad, but if she is interested in learning you could teach her to get better.
@cloud I think you generalize gamer girls. They probably all do get a lot of attention, but it is unfair to assume they're all the same.

I know shes had atleast 1 tour of duty almost certain of more. to be 19 she was like a virgin, was so nice :0 So i guess its not a huge deal, i spent like 2 years trying to get her to go out with me in the first place haha
