Yeah, I've been cramming for the last 15 hours straight for the AP Biology exam. I haven't really done anything this year, so I'm trying to fit everything into one day . Anyways, has anyone taken this test? Whats it like?
And would it be wise to try staying up all night to take this test? Its the first thing in the morning, I'll be done before noon. I think I can tough it out for 12 more hours with some red bull(12:00 right now). Or should I just go to bed now and pray for the best? I screwed up a practice exam I took and got a high 3 - It might end up being a 2 with the essays... T___T.

kek i've got an ordinary differential equations final and an organic chemistry II final BACK TO BACK tomorrow morning
i too will be staying up all night gogogo
procrastination for the win
but no seriously you should try to sleep a bit before the test, even if its just two hours, anything helps. otherwise you can't focus T.T gl hf

Get 6 hours of sleep or u won't remember as much when it's time to take the exam. Sleep, then review beforehand. Good luck.

sleeping 2 hours would be so stupid
go to bed
eat a real breakfast
duh

Don't stay up all night. Wake up early and cram. Its a 3 hour tests and if you aren't acquainted with taking exams like that then don't push it.
I took it like 4 years ago and if it hasn't changed then it's not terrible as long as you kept pace with the material somewhat.
I can't give you any real advice so far as multiple choice, but for the free response just push every fact you can possibley remember. The sentences don't have to be flowy or rich. In fact, if you intend to finish on time load every sentence with as many facts as you possibly can. If it's relevant, they will have to give you a point for each one.

hahs sleep is definetly better. I gotta cram majorly for the ap chem test on tuesday.

I am completely screwed on the MC I think (The essays are just beyond repair too ). On the practice one, I think I missed a massive clump of like 15 questions. Gah... I haven't been keeping up in class. Its the class right before physics so I've just been doing physics homework during class t________t. Procrastination is going to bite me in the back.

bio tomorrow also :D
GL yo
Practice test i got a 5, almost a 4...but then again it was curved based on my class's score so i dotn think its accurate. the essays we used (taken from 2004 exam) i thought were really easy, but now im concerned because what if they give me some essays i dont know crap about -_-;;;
GO FOR 5
|
good luck to you too.
Bah, I'm going to need some divine intervention for that 5.
|
I never studied for AP bio and I got a 5 ;D
|
for the essay, if you can't think of anything, my best suggestion is to bs. it worked out fine on AP History, and espcially AP Government :D
|
T_T, what was the secret? My brain is about to explode .
Ahh, I am t3h master of bs'ing :p. Thats what I did on the Euro essays ^^.

Don't worry about it guys.
AP's aren't a big deal, and if you're a really efficient crammer it is really easy to just pass. Most people that don't pass AP Bio are usually just people not cut out for higher level sciences. It's a lot of information, and if it doesn't interest or stick with you, there isn't that much that can be done.
That said, I know more than a few people that took the Cliffs AP bio review book, studied the hell out of that for one week, and got 4's and 5's.
Good luck guys.

I took the AP history exam on Friday. I didn't think it was that bad, but the essays were about stupid things.
|
I'm pretty sure I pwnt the AP Euro MC with a couple days of cramming the book.
But this completely blows my mind. I've been worshiping the Cliff's AP book for the past 15 hours, and its still confusing. I don't get what is going on. I mean, I do fine in physics and math and all. But what the hell is this t_T.

lol my friend that is a Junior told me she's taking bio exam in a church, which will make her not go to heaven :p "who talks about evolution in the house of god?!"
 sleep, ofcorse.

if you need to study just stay up all night studying, it's not that crazy, just do it. you'll have adrenaline and be alert for the test don't worry... it's all about your own personal willpower
the most i've done is stay up all night studying for an exam, sleep two hours after it then stay up all night again writing two papers... then pass out for like 18 hours
your body can take it

i didn't study for any of my ap's except for apush, because i was only a sophomore then and it was my first ap ever
if your teacher gives you review packets do all of those, and get ap review books from princeton or kaplan or whatever
