(Not trying to be a dick I am just interested so want to read more about it.) I still read this and to me it reads as the chance of some debris hitting a person on the ground not a specific person. 1 in 3200 seems very high chances for debris to be hitting a specific target.

The original statement said that the chance that ANY human was hit is 1/3200, this puts the chance of YOU being hit as roughly 1/(3200 * 6 000 000 000) = 1/ 19 200 000 000 000 or about One in 19 200 000 000 000, so 19,2 trillion. I may be wrong but I think NASA is using 7 billion and not 6 billion as the number of people there are on earth. But I agree that 1/3200 seems like a ridiculously high chance of a specific person being hit.

The entire projected course right now is over the ocean. Anywhere between off the coast of Canada, all around the bottom of Africa, to near Australia, but it doesn't hit any land. Guess that is pretty usual for a planet with so much water like ours though.
