I am not much of an anime fan, but one of the things I'm glad I found from watching it when I was much younger was this soundtrack, and, frankly, anything Yoko Kanno creates that Steve Conte sings.

I am suprised that no one has mentioned stuff such as crazy train from ozzy osbourne or other songs like nookie from Limp Bizkit (it had a definitive style) or even the hotstepper from ini kamoze (everyone knows this song). I guess you could add riders of the storm from the doors too?
I picked a cover because I love this rendition of the song. The guitar intro is just awesome to hear and play, and the song itself makes me lighter and carefree.

One of my absolute favourites, just had the album on repeat recently. The song is just so melodic, many catchy riffs with Jon's vocals just make the atmosphere just so dark.

cool, yesterday i remembered this song - without seeing it in this thread! i heard it about 10 years ago when i would come home from school and put on the german music channel on our dodgy hacked satellite TV so i could listen to proper music instead of british radio pop
give it a chance past the first 10-15 seconds, starts out just sounding like a rap song, but its a really nice electro song, or electro rap w/e you want to call it
