That is interesting, but I think he meant more like human and horse relations, and thenyou get centaur. Or horse and rhinoceros to make unicorn.

afaik isn't Homo/Neanderthal in that same vein? Similar to Human/Gorilla would be in that same vein? Or does it have to be madly different creatures like Fish/Millipede or something of that sort? (Unless he's requesting for a purely penis level sexual interaction)

What is it about the reproduction cycle that disallows cross species breeding? Could you use artificial insemination to fertelize a human egg with another species semen? If not, what allows human semen to be able to?

Chromosome number usually determines the ability of two animals to produce viable offspring because *insert science here*. That is a general rule, but there are exceptions. A mule for example is a cross between a male donkey and female horse, which have a different number of chromosomes. However most mules are sterile themselves because of this.

Do higher cost lamps provide anything besides style?
|
Maybe they break less often because of higher quality? The light you get out of them is the same, especially considering you use the same lightbulbs anyways. Maybe additional functionality that allows you to direct the light exactly where you want them too?

Different dimming options? I used to have a touch lamp that was pretty cool. You would just touch it to cycle through the brightness levels or turn it off. Wouldn't call it expensive though.
So pretty much, no. Unless of course you buy this bad boy for a reasonable $47,175.00.

Is there a lot of snow in southern Argentina and Chile?

Argentina: + Show Spoiler +Central Argentina has hot summers with tornadoes and thunderstorms (in western Argentina producing some of the world's largest hail), and cool winters. The southern regions have warm summers and cold winters with heavy snowfall, especially in mountainous zones. Higher elevations at all latitudes experience cooler conditions. ... Argentina also gets some snow in many southern and central places of the country. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Argentina
Chile: + Show Spoiler +It depends on where in Chile you are. If you go to the Andes, yes it snows in the winter. Some of the best skiing/snowboarding in South America is about a 1 hour drive east of Santiago. In the south (Patagonia) it snows too, but not very much. ... The temperatures in northern Chile (Atacama Desert regions) rarely go below about 15ºC. Central Chile has a Mediterranean climate, so night temperatures in the winter hover between 0ºC and 5ºC. Southern Chile ranges from a temperate rainforest to the Patagonian Desert, so it's possible for snow to fall (last winter it did), but it's not common. The south-eastern Pacific Ocean moderates the temperature throughout the country. Snow fall here generally is less than 1 cm and lasts less than 24 hours. What kind of jokes/stereotypes do Germans and Austrians have about each other?

I don't think germans have too many stereotypes of Austrians, at least i don't know of too many. They talk in a language that kind of resembles german.
They probably have a lot more about us, considering Austria is a prime spot for germans to do "wintersports" which usually means going up a lift, getting really, really drunk for a few hours, and then skiing down once and continue getting even more drunk.

Germans have their own set of stereotypes about other nations, that sometimes appear in jokes...An Austrian is usually merely an antagonist of a German character, and may be presented as superior, inferior, or an unacknowledged equal.
Which nationality was Ötzi the Iceman? He wasn't Italian, as he carried tools, he wasn't Austrian, since he had brains, he might have been Swiss, since he was overtaken by a glacier, but most probably he was a North German, because nobody else walks in sandals in the mountains.

That would make a great basis for a joke, if german had humor...
Sorry, I know it's bad, but that was too tempting. Not serious though !
