Also, can we talk about conservation of momentum? When they go from 0 to speed of sound in the fraction of a second, what takes the recoil? The ground? They'd leave craters behind themselves, or just slip as the sideways-to-downwards force would have to be huge. Even assuming they coincidentally always stand on super firm ground, and has special shoes with near infinite grip, there is also the issue of conservation of angular momentum: if the force is only applied at the feet, and pushing sideways so much stronger that gravity really isn't a factor, why doesn't the speedster just start rotating? And seeing that they move much faster than gravity, what brings them back down to the ground for the next step? Imagine doing everything you do a hundred time slower (like walking, eating, speaking with someone, picking up a pen...)! All of this was already answered in the Flash--its the Speedforce. In one story the Justice League even just used Flash as a super computer with Batman asking him to calculate the probabilities of certain scenarios and the Flash shitting out information as quick as he could. Flash, himself, is not "immune" to the forces being exerted by the speed, but those forces are absorbed and then given back in kind via the speed force. What is a the speed force? A mystical force of nature existing outside our reality but is tapped into by beings who travel fast enough. Hence why you see all that lightning around the Flash. Part to make him look flashy and to also explain away any physics issues. "but what would happen if..." It got absorbed/shielded by/prevented by the speed force "But not if-" Speed Force "You don't even know what I was about to-" Speed Force

I consider my laptop pretty shitty and I've enjoyed Torchlight II quite a bit. Does the president (not necessarily of the US) still need to pay bills? (house, food, shopping (lol))

We are talking about a being who can move through time and space and change history faster than we can think--and he still chases bank robbers (possibly for fun)

When you realise your fiction violates all kinds of physics in a number of ways, just make up a word and pretend that word addresses all concerns. A bit like politics in a way.

Unepic, Rampage Knights, Ragnarok Battle Offline (not joking, fond memories) off the top of my head. if it's not super shitty, Enter the Gungeon is great hotseat co-op other games on steam, Jamestown, a vertical bullet-hell game if two computers and again, not super shitty, Lost Planet 2 is one of the best co-op experiences ever, the more the merrier. even some old SNES games, some singleplayer stuff swapping off controllers per death can be really fun.

B-b-but guys, it's tucked away really well, they won't find it ![]() I might toy with this idea a bit more... I have a supermarket real close to my home now so I can experiment with it anyway. A bit related to this: how much stuff gets bought from a supermarket every single day? I realize they need to restock on certain key products daily, but stuff like ... idk obscure pasta shapes (shells, what's their name, just shells?), how often do they need to order those in? How long would it take before the entire store is restocked once? wouldn't someone SPOT you picking up or dropping off your shit? ROFLMAO

I'd say this is one instance where human physiology trumps the speed force. He would have very average speed, about the same as anyone else. Too fast and he chars himself.
