So it seems like you are just here to whine a bit about the state of the bnet forums? You can keep that on the bnet forums as far as I'm concerned. Most on TL will just shrug it off and suggest that you don't go there for serious discussion. Elite TL attitude.
Then people say similar things about teamliquid as well for that matter, that others just mindlessly complain and disagree with everything. On the other hand there is a significant demographic (that would include you I guess) that are complaining about all the complaining the others are doing. Most of the community update threads will display both of these viewpoints.
I think it's a matter of the remaining community having a lot of #passion and strong opinions about how the game ought to be, but different people tend to have different strong opinions, putting Blizzard in a difficult position. Just look at the difference between KR and foreign pro feedback the last few updates, and that's not even mentioning all the heterogeneity within the communities. Any call will make a bunch of people unhappy because you didn't do the choice THEY are convinced is the only way to save the game. So well, I think we will continue to have observations on David Kim's intellectual capabilities every patch until he moves on to a more thankful job. See it as an expression of #passion, and it'll be easier to handle.
Did that address the question you didn't ask?

Before I left Sweden some 4-5 years ago, I felt there was a pretty healthy (imo) debate on discrimination of women in some immigrant cultures, and how to interpret and enforce the Swedish laws on that while at the same time not discriminating based on culture or race. No easy solutions of course, and definitely a sensitive subject in racism discussions, but it was talked about. After I left we got this surge of the racist party and the immigrant wave, so not sure how things are with that right now...

in response to that: it covered the enlightenment, yes... sometimes it's not about asking the question, but the direction in which it was taken

thank you for the information
it confirmed quite a bit about these two forums (TL and bnet)

Has Pokemon Go finally hit my town or has there been some plague of human locusts awakened from a late 90's early 00's Anime time capsule?
Actual question: Anyone think there's going to be a lot of angry parents/partners with data overages this month?

Oh definitely. It eats through data big time, and the kids are all on summer break!

See they had unlimited Data in the US and once the speeds started getting to the point where people could really eat through it and stream HD video etc etc, they started to reel it back in. A lot of people were duped into giving up Unlimited Data plans in rather underhanded fashions from what I have heard.

There are only 3 companies in the US and they co-own each other, meaning competition is zero. There are lots of provincial/local companies that gives you a good deal if you're only talking to people within your immediate area, but the US is so big that those options aren't really options.

How do you know that you have only ever seen skinny gay people?
Also, why wouldn't they?
Unless you have a good reason to believe that either
-gay people are less likely to be fat -or fat people are less likely to be gay
I'd default to the average gay person being about as fat as the average person in general.
