He's probably deleted his comments. I don't think you can hide posts like that, since it would make lots of people appear insane :D

Before FB had instant messaging, my friends and I used to post on each other's walls and delete the comments and just use the alert emails that FB sends out.

You can set it so only certain people can see your posts.

if Final Fantasy gets it's 30th game, will it be called Final Fantasy XXX?

That makes me wonder, how many titles does square enix have trademarked then? Can I go trademark FFXVIII or something so they have to get rights from me?

It wouldn't be worth fighting with them once they try and get it but if you can file the trademark, maintain it and then sell it to them for even a couple of hundred bucks or even trade the title for early game access, all content and expansions for free then it could easily be worth it. And they would take this offer since fighting you over it would cost them thousands as well.

Without any spoilers (I'm still playing the game on-and-off and enjoying myself), why do people hate the ending of Mass Effect 3 so much?

Is it the worst ending possible? No... but it's pretty bad.
Edit: I'd also say that it's one of my favorite games other than the ending. It was really enjoyable and there's a reason why many people played it, even though the ending sucks.

I sort of feel the opposite way.
The ending wasn't great, but I didn't mind it nearly as much as most people. That said, ME3 was already easily my least favorite of the three prior to the ending. There just weren't nearly enough interesting new characters or interesting development in the characters from previous games. Without DLC, there are only 1.5 new squadmates, one of whom is the classic bioware human combat specialist that no one ever cares about.
+ Show Spoiler +And that EDI/Joker plotline. Ugh.

Oh, see I thought that the gameplay was much improved from the first two. The mechanics were more fluid, there were more RPG elements (especially the weapons customization), and the combat was more refined than either of the first two. The first one could've been perfect if the gameplay was more fluid and less clunky, the second one completely abandoned RPG elements in favor of more of a shooter experience, and I thought the third game was a good compromise overall.
I don't really remember the story of the third one, but the second one had a pretty dismal ending as well. The major twist was cool, but the end itself was pretty cliche. The first one is probably my favorite in terms of nostalgia, but some of the levels in that game were awful. The mission with the colony where the plant mind controlled the colonists in particular was especially monotonous and time consuming with relatively little plot development and lots of running between points.

When I startup my computer, my internet works fine. I can browse or whatever while the desktop continues to load everything. Then after the desktop has loaded there is a 3-5 minute period where my internet doesnt work. Is it possible that something the desktop is loading is using so much of my bandwidth that it is overwhelming my wireless? And if it is, what the fuck.

I see what you mean about FPS/RPG compromising, and I guess I'll have to judge the ending for myself.
I really enjoyed the side missions on the second one (like Liara's), and some of the loyalty missions (esp. Jacob, Miranda, and Samara). The whole atmosphere on Omega, first with the mercs teaming up to kill Garrus, and then later the whole thing around Samara/Morinth was really captivating in a way that ME3 hasn't entranced me so far, although I do like some of the things they've expanded on. The Citadel plays a much bigger role, although I have to say I wish there were more "social" places a la Omega, for the purposes of more cloak-and-dagger quests. So far I haven't seen much outside the Citadel.

I don't really understand this complaint. Yeah, the end choice gets summarized with four choices, but your choices to that point effect whether major characters and even whole species are alive at that point. If you made bad decisions, some of those endings can be completely locked off to you so I don't really get how your choices didn't matter.I would have liked to see more variable in the battle cutscenes. Think about how cool it would be to see Rachni warriors smashing faces up front with the Krogan while massive Geth Prime units blow stuff with rockets, etc. Instead, we just see clips of the few races that everybody gets by default anyway. Missed opportunity.
The rest of the story I felt was great. The new characters didn't get as much development, but considering that most of the others had two or three games of screen time, one game's worth isn't much time by comparison. The Tuchanka, Rannoch, and Thessia missions were probably some of my favorite of the whole series.
And the shooting was improved, but I missed the hub worlds from 1 and 2. The Citadel was nice, but ultimately limited. At least they improved the loot/gear system from 2, which I didn't like.

Just finished the game. I don't see what all the hate was about. The final mission was exhilarating, and the choices were fairly fitting. It reminds me a little bit of Deus Ex (both the first and HR)

it's just that your choices had no effect on the outcome of the game, only your paragon level mattered, which is ridiculous with all the choices they let you make. SPOILERS + Show Spoiler +one ending, three colors only your paragon level and how much support you gathered throughout the universe made a difference, not even different enough cutscenes... really stupid for how many choices you've been making.

Because the original ending was rushed and not done properly. This was confusing and angering and a lot of people started complaining about all sorts of good and bad things.
But you (and I) played the full version with the patched ending, which changed the endgame cinematic considerably, leading us to search the internet for why everybody hated it.
On a separate note, I was disappointed with the lack of a final bossfight.

How is it possible to say something is definitive without evidence?
|
Does pure maths count? I am not certain if mathematic proofs count as evidence, as they are merely logically deducting from given axioms and not based on any observation.
Also, if you want to get literal, definitive comes from definition, and a definition by definition does not need any evidence as it is merely describing the meaning of a word, which without this definition would not have any meaning whatsoever.
