I'd say it's all the flanges that try and pick cool 'neo' sounding akas. This is especially common on brood war, where guys get motivated make a smurf aka with a new fancy sounding name thinking it will make some sort of difference.
Names I'm referring to are like:
BlackSummer
RedSwan
AloneIWeep

Just seriously, stop with this bullshit. It's incredibly annoying and makes you seem like an angsty 16 year old.

Get over yourselves people they are just screen names no one cares. I blame this thread on Tastosis. They are always harping on having these so called fantastic screen names and ragging on korean names. Artosis sounds like some sort of cold or virus you get in the winter time and tasteless sounds fresh out of the mind of a bad ass 13 year old. Aside from the "XXXs1nperxzxzx" type names they are all about the same, may as well be numbers.

Names like these make me happy that I quit Call of Duty. At least in this community names like that are frowned upon as opposed to seen as being "pro."

Then again "pro" CoD and professional StarCraft are so different it shouldn't be that surprising haha.

This isn't a try hard name, but one of the funniest names I ever saw was JoeMama.

Now, I'm sure that somebody out there is saying, that's not funny at all. But when I played him I did a super cheesy build, and therefore I all-ined JoeMama.
