Hes got it built-in to most of his guitars..and ive wanted it for ages No one should ever buy a fuzz factory before actually trying it out in person. The thing about fuzz factories is that they can make so many different sounds just by how the different knobs are positioned in relation to each other. There were so many times where I'd find an amazing setting one day, but then in the future when the knobs got messed with by accident I'll never be able to find the exact setting again. The flexibility is cool and all, but no one really needs a fuzz pedal that is so finicky and needlessly confusing. I ended up selling it both because I realized I didn't really need a dedicated fuzz pedal and also because I just got too frustrated with it. I bought another big muff instead.

I mean, it's a fun pedal, that's for sure, but is it really practical?

Right now I'm playing a few different guitars, a Taylor 314ce which I bought for myself about 2 years ago, and a MIM Stratocaster which was actually a gift from my girlfriend (absolutely blew me away). Taylor: ![]() Strat: ![]() I'm playing through a Blues Junior (best sounding compact tube amp I've ever played) and a few different pedals - Boss Ce-5 Chorus, Dd-6 digital delay, Od-6 Overdrive, Mxr Compressor, and Hendrix wah. I got all the Boss pedals from the sam guy on kijiji so they don't fit my dream tone 100%, but they're good enough for someone who only plays live maybe once in two months. Most of my time is spent playing for my church or writing my own stuff, which is mainly acoustic stuff in the style of my favourite artist Jack Johnson, or electric guitar instrumentals in the style of Eric Johnson or Dave Weiner. If you want, I'll post some of my originals on here!

Try lifting anything else into your car twice a week. ![]() Johnson meets Johnson sounds interesting. :D I'd hear your originals. ^^

If the solo is worth playing (and if it isn't, fuck the song, it's most likely not difficult to play), the solo is the breakdown of emotion and actual musicianship. Without it, a song doesn't hold much merit to it ![]() Always learn the solo (if anything), as that's where that's almost always what the creator cares about most. Show your support ![]() EDIT: I'm more of a bass player, but I've been saving up for this for a while: ![]() <3 me some Petrucci ![]()

![]() then soon after i bought my first electric from a friend, a Ibanez GRX40. rookie guitar, comes with a little amp and a bag but its singlecoil sound is outstanding. would buy it anytime again. only the tuners suck big time -.- ![]() a few weeks ago i bought this beauty on ebay. actually i wouldn't buy guitars, without playing them. but it's a Cort. you can't go wrong. this guitar looks, feels and sounds like a PRS. ![]() here's a better pic: ![]() the amp is a VOX VT15 btw. and one more word about Cort. if you're a novice - intermediate player, Cort is one of the brands i'd recommend without any limitations. the value you get for the price is absolutely outstanding.

Cool thing has been since I've gotten into SC2 seriously my guitar playing has also improved a lot, without touching the thing in a while. Strange transferable skill but anybody else noticed this?

![]() But I really, really want a Rickenbacker. Pretty much dream guitar: ![]() I play a range of stuff. Currently playing a lot of The Mars Volta, I use a few different pedals including a loop pedal. Love my loop pedal. Got a pretty sweet Vox amp too.
