Note: a number of sources are saying that Beast Master Casey has been suspended for 4 days and that the rat boy was suspended for 21. Look around for more sources please.

I was bullied heavily throughout elementary/middle school, and it was rarely physical, just constant verbal bullying. It's hard enough to get physical bullying addressed, good luck if you have no bodily marks to show. But that's another story for another thread. This kid may have gone too far, but I can't really blame him. Combination of constant harassment, having them record themselves degrading you, adrenaline. Conscious thought kind of goes out the window. Sort of like if some guy kept gesturing at you with a weapon, eventually you're just going to react, restraint be damned. For the record, I know there are teachers and school officials who do their best to combat bullying, and I commend them. Unfortunately they are still vastly in the minority.

You have to realize Casey probably has no idea to fight but once a kid like that who cops shit from people for ages snaps, they have no control over what they are doing, it is all just a rush of blood. The scrawny kid is a piece of crap and frankly I wouldn't care if he was seriously injured, but the main problem here is how bullying STILL happens in schools and teachers/schools still have no real control over it (Parents are also to blame in this situation). I live in Australia and am actually studying to be a secondary teacher (I did some IT work in a school for a year in 2009) and no matter what schools do they still can't stop bullying (I think there needs to be a lot more awareness projects on it). Not sure what it is like in other countries but I hope it is a lot better than it is in Australia, our culture is pretty fucked right now. The bolded part was of interest to me. I was in Australia for a year a while back and I was surprised at how often violent assault was reported in the news. I recall a week-long news special talking about the dramatic increase in assaults, drinking and drugs across the country. It really surprised me; but became quite evident when I went out to a few local watering holes. Crazy stuff.

I understand why he got a suspension, but i am really glad it was a lot shorter than that queer skinny kid's suspension. I want to find a video in like 9 years of that same scrawny kid and then Casey when he is Like INControl status, and then whoop him all over again!!

The saddest thing is that either the teachers and parents know exactly what is going on and choose to do nothing, or even worse, they're completely ignorant of it.

That's what this kid did. Sure, that other little kid may have died, but that's part of life. The bully shouldn't have been picking on him in the firs place, and got exactly what he deserved. In no way, do I think what Casey did was wrong - Not even in the way he chose to punish the bully. He knew he had to win that fight, and future fights using his actions. And the whole "go tell an adult" thing is dumb. I remember as a kid when they told us that, and it's like... so if I'm getting the shit beat out of me, I shouldn't do anything? Do I look like fucking Jesus? No thank you. Someone starts picking on me, and I WILL fight back. Shoot first, ask questions later.

I still lol when I think back to it, Getting bullied sucks, Fight back against them, don't be tormented. A man must build a road for himself. Reliance on authority makes you weak.

Funny to see how the culture in China and Australia isn't different at all.

Is it wrong that I read your post like this? Anyway, I feel pretty sickened and ashamed that Casey even had to go Beast-Mode, although I guess it's to be expected. People should realize that no matter how hard they try to act tough, somebody (or some group) is going to crush them like the bug they are >.> Although the people who believe Casey's punishment is unjustified don't understand the situation at all. There's no way the school could advocate slamming another person's head into concrete without being...given awkward looks from the rest of the world ![]()
