Contest will end in 90 minutes 05:00 GMT (+00:00). This is to give players who do not win a chance to purchase the game at the discounted price before beta releases. If you win, you will not receive your game until after beta starts, HOWEVER it will still count as an alpha account.

Greetings, TLers! Today I bring you the first of many giveaways to come and it's none other than the hit indie game Minecraft.

Minecraft is basically legos for adults with some extra features like crafting and fighting. You start off in this vast world with nothing but two hands and a dream. Fortunately your hands are somehow able to chop down trees which you can then use to craft tools and start building a home. Experience the sense of accomplishment when you finish constructing your first home! Feel the joy when your hard work manifests itself as a majestic creation!

For this giveaway I have been donated five (5) copies of Minecraft to give out here on TLNet (thanks to the Minecraft devs who are SC2/TL fans). I have decided to start with Minecraft because it will be entering beta on the 20th and the TL server will be undergoing major changes, so it's a great time for a new player to jump into the game.

Contest Rules

Must have over 10 posts
Must have an account older than one month
To enter, simply download the image below of a blank Minecraft character and color it in however you like. Five people will be randomly chosen to receive the keys, so it doesn't matter if coloring isn't your strong point.

Winners will be chosen and announced on December 20th and will receive their copy of the game immediately after.

Note to mods: I posted this in General because I felt anyone who reads Sports and Games has already seen one of the two Minecraft threads and probably already owns the game if they were interested. Feel free to move this thread if needed.
