Zenatsu
100 Posts
My name used to be just 'Zen' when I was about 8 or 9. Unbeknownst to me, I didn't know it was a meditative practice for a good long while, and I had the name 'Zen' for a good 4-5 years when I first created the character beforehand. So I pondered for a good week or so to change the name up slightly to be not only unique, but cool sounding (Cuz all of us round 10-14 want cool nicknames). I added the suffix -atsu knowing it was Japanese related, but had no connection to the meaning, I just thought it sounded cool together, so it became "Zenatsu".

My friends convinced me to server transfer, and it seems some other MTG nerd had taken Ixidor on this new server, so I had to change my name. I had to keep the "ixi" part, because that is what everyone called me on vent. My friend and I were on vent for like two hours trying to think of new names (his was taken too), and at one point he said "ixiRAWR!" and it was really funny, so I used it, and have been using it ever since. I don't really like it, but I can't think of anything that isn't taken on 90% of websites. I totally want to have a name revolving around the number 42 though.

For SC2, my ID is Uijado. I don't know how I came up with that, but it sounds KICKASS. I hope I didn't subconsciously steal it from somewhere, that happens all the time ![]() One main problem with it is it can't be shortened in chat very easily. Ui is used sometimes, but... meh.

It started back when I was 9-10 years old on neopets. My name is Tristan, and obviously it was taken so I added a 'do' at the end. (God knows why.) Hence, tristando. I frequented the neoquest forums and chatted with a bunch of people, and people started calling me twisthandle as a joke. When I got frozen, I took up twisthandle. Fast forward a few years to Counter Strike source, and I needed a tag for that, too. I shortened it to Twist during that time. Tristan > Trist > Twist, it works pretty well. Ever since then I go by the id Twist in pretty much everything. The only thing is that sometimes it's taken, so I add Twistacles because it's funny. Testicles, Twist, Twistacles, However, if the game allows me to use twist, I use that.
Cadaver!!

When I ventured into the depths of the internetz I realized that assholes already took 'cadaver' so I had to think about something. And that something was the 'SW' suffix. It doesn't mean anything, I just thought it looks cool. I also really like silver age comics where half of the sentences end with double exclamation mark, I put it after my name, and I really liked the result. But a lot systems doesn't allow characters like that. So if it is allowed I roll as Cadaver!!, if not then CadaverSW.
