Hey there, I remember I used to play a lot of old DOS games like 13 years ago when I was a little kid.
I mean, some of them are pretty famous, like Prince of Persia (which I enjoyed alot) and some people don't even have a clue.
Well lately, I have had an urge to re-play these old school games and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify them. I'll try to describe them as well as I can remember
Game 1: There was this one game where this caveman (2D game, DOS) goes around hitting dinosaurs and jumping over little obstacles. You actually hit the spacebar to use your club to smack things around. And I vaguely remember the level boss being this giant T rex thing that you have to smack a million times
Game 2: There was this game that I used to play with my siblings, you get to choose between a Werewolf, King Kong, or Godzilla and you climb up skyscrapers and smash them. I think if you get killed (the little people shoot at you from inside the building), you turn into this tiny little thing and can get eaten by your fellow teammate.
Oh, and has anyone played uncharted waters 3/4? I heard 3/4 are only out in Korea but would like to hear feedback from people who've played them before so I know which one I should try to get

I know game 2 is Rampage.
Not sure what game one is.

I thought the first game was Joe and Mac also. I played the SNES version, pretty fun game.
And yes, the second game was Rampage. That was a fun one.
You should go back and play all the Apogee and Epic Megagames too. Crystal Caves, Commander Keen, Jill of the Jungle, Blake Stone, Wolfenstein 3-D, Duke Nukem, all those games are pretty great.
EDIT: Guildmate knew it. Prehistorik.

No, its not this one, the graphics look too different. But its close.

This isn´t exactly on topic, but i just recovered a very unique RTS game for pc: "Z" or "Zod" i think, first version was for DOS and the second one got updated for Windows 95. It has a lot (like 30) hilarious video sequences you can see when advancing trough the game. I played it around 1996 or so.. i think it is worth checking it out, there are patches to play it in Windows Vista and XP.

Yeah, Z. I got that from a friend in junior high. Fun game, very frustrating. I had good enough micro to beat a missile tank with a light tank in that game haha.

Only ones I remember playing mentioned here were Prince of Persia and Rampage (but wow, I had completely forgotten about Rampage until it was mentioned!). Another DOS one I remember not mentioned here though is Miner VGA. I only know the title because I spent forever looking for it out of nostalgia, only finding out it wasn't as fun as I remembered it to be

Might and Magic: Clouds of Xeen and Might of Magic: Darkside of Xeen were fantastic, fantastic games. Hands down the best traditional RPG I've played on the PC. It had a lot of easter eggs, hidden humor, but most amazingly was the ability to travel between both games if you owned them both, completing large meta-quests that spanned both titles. Really just genius game design, and if you haven't played it and have a few days to sit down and enjoy a real classic, I highly recommend it. I've played through it about 4 times so far.
