Okay, to give a broad sum up. A few weeks ago after a failroam brought to light just how low the skill of the average hatchery members is and VoV and I went to Aralgrund in disgust. We fucked with the locals and they first asked us to blue them then undocked caps on us, over and over.

Fast forward and both sides have an operation in aralgrund. The OUTLAW alliance live there and have an ongoing op there to kill all invaders whereas the hatchery had a few members hanging out there and training new guys. Generally outnumbered but always dominating the locals, in spite of caps.
They're shittalking us and we're finding it hilarious as their battleships and carriers at 0 on stations fail to do shit against our 2-3 battlecruisers.

Fast forward to 36 hours ago and another victory over them and we have the following conversation.

So the conversation started with me ignoring him, went to an alliance invite to which I responded by mocking their cowardice and trying to get another fight. However they seemed to see it as the following.

Alliance bulletins:

OUTLAW ALLIANCE, only in its third week has remarkably reached almost 200 members now with the recent application from once targeted corporation The Hatchery. All Outlaw corporations have been given the full recruit green light in hopes to build fleet numbers and frequency.



Anyway, we thought about it and decided that we could abuse the alliance to fuck with the war dec. When a corp at war joins an alliance the dec is moved up to the whole alliance but when a corp leaves an alliance at war they're clear after 24 hours. So we joined to do that, they were truly terrible and had been shittalking, they were so far beneath us that a day of membership was embarrassing enough.
Knowing we were going to leave we upped the trolling to a whole new level. I insisted they called me Captain KwarK, Gem only spoke Portuguese to which we all replied in English, ad libing for hilarity, Serg played the stupidest music in the background in teamspeak and we talked total nonsense. They were taking us entirely seriously as we planned to take over Delve and use the money to buy things. VoV stole a load of loot off them and Johnny loaned money on them then we lured them all to the sun and massacred them with a 27 man hatchery fleet. We were immediately kicked from the alliance, mission fucking accomplished.

Unfortunately this left me with a superfleet to take on a roam which never ends well. Too many new faces and too little accountability. We missed a prophecy and a cane because a guy was a gate behind and didn't think to say "I'm a jump behind" when I told him to warp to a gate that wasn't in his system and point shit. I could have sent any of a dozen others but I trusted him and in a 20 man fleet I can't actually know where everyone is at all times and micromanage everyone. We still got a baddon, a cane and a drake with the loss of a drake as the fleet eventually fell apart. I really don't like FCing fleets that big though.

Still, 1400m destroyed, about 60m lost, probably 500m stolen. Could be worse.

Oh, we also attacked Dark Rising on their home turf about an hour before any of the above happened with a 7 man nanogang. They started with 12 or so guys but more came flooding in from their adjacent home system, peaking with 3 scimitars, rapier, lachesis, vagabonds, drams and a good dozen canes/drakes. We killed a rapier and a cane with no losses and disengaged smoothly enough. Easy game yo.

PS have you ever experimented with the dual web nanodrake fit (swap invulns for webs, drops the tank a lot but has better versatility vs frig/cruiser size stuff)?

So someone once told me that storylines were not worth it, however i did one this weekend and i got a 100m mod as loot, and it was a lvl3 mission and took 10mins. Im going to do these more often.

So after Serg randomly left without telling anyone and we had to gtfo from a battle we could have won with a Scimitar, my computer crashed. I spent the next 5 hours getting back online. Currently I'm reinstalling eve....but I might have to just reinstall EVERYTHING. Fuck.

Due to our roaming in the past couple days and the massacre of the OUTLAW guys yesterday, we hold the 9 and 10 positions for most kills and 5 through 10 positions for most points (lol) on their alliance killboard.

This is because 4 of them manage to kill ships while the rest kill botting Bestowers. lol

Useless under gate guns which is, at the moment, where most of our drake combat takes place. But yeah, we started with those a while ago. But the double LSE triple extender rig fit gives a lot of passive regen, more than you'd think, and that really opens up options for smallgang work.

Yeah, we killed a domi, but apparently the guy ejected when in structure, so the kill doesn't show, or something. We got his pod, though. <3

What role in a fleet a new player is the most usefull (been limited in SP atm, im pretty sure their is some specific role where we can help more) until we build up Skills ?

And what are the specific skills usefull for that role ?

My research made me go with a tackling role with a rifter and the skills I am aiming for atm are:

Propulsion Jamming
Afterburner
High Speed Maneuvering

Then ill devellop from there, would that be usefull for the way the corp pvp ?

There is a lot of stuff about that in the op of this thread.
Like a list of what ships are useful and what skills are must have.
And yes, you will probably start in a rifter or an other frigate and move up to bc. After that there are a lot of different options, but most of these are pretty specialized.
