And learn to play the game? Spending a few minutes perusing the station interface and playing through a couple of tutorial missions would've quickly taught you how to repair your own ship, so you wouldn't have to ask the noobiest of questions all the time. (Reading the key big posts in this thread will help you even more, as well as Google and Wiki) Lastly, what did you expect to accomplish by coming to this thread to whine and bitch about how a random malicious person killed you? It's not like you lost any skillpoints or any ISK worth mentioning, so reimbursement is out of the question. An apology? As if we owe it to you? So now in revenge you're going to try and flame us? You didn't lose anything -- yeah it sucks to die at first, but it's not so bad once you figure out how little you lost. All you gotta do is take ownership for your own mistakes and learn from them. | ||

Hm, that's pretty true actually. I think prior new recruits were told basics survival during times of war (i.e. dock up so you don't die). whatever i did the tutorial and my ship got damaged, till this point there was nothing about repairing so i thought i'll ask in the channel. i did never expect anybody to kill me(and the consequence of getting kicked out). im new to this game and i havent study it before i try playing it.. everything that happened is i died, and then you kick me like i did that on purpose. i need a new account really nice how you treat new people. i am just warning people how you treat new players, maybe you are right and i shouldnt take this all personally.. | ||

why don't we have a teamliquid eve page? even if it's a one page website, it'll be a lot more organized than trying to stuff everything in the OP of this thread, plus there's a lot of other goodies that're embedded in random pages of this 300 page long thread. I wouldn't mind starting it up and gathering and sorting all the info in this thread, since I've actually read through this whole thread more than once lol (i get some downtime at work, ok?) | ||

What I'm most curious about is why, after joining corp, upon having a question you chose to ask in the public channel and not PM your mentor or even in corp chat? I assure you, had you asked 'how do I repair' in those channels, you would IMMEDIATELY have been given a straight answer. I'm completely serious about Eve University suiting you btw. You really should look them up. | ||

1) You asked how to repair your ship and a war target told you to come to a system. 2)You were told in the 'scbw' channel that you should use corp chat, and i also assume someone told you how to repair your ship in the 'scbw' channel. 3) You then took atleast 10 minutes to jump to the war target, during which time you did not say anything about it in corp chat or scbw, and you did not read the bullitens. I wont bother going on, but could you explain to the best of your ability why step 3 happened at all? | ||
