I've learned the hard way that the basics of blackbird flying is just to maximize your survival. Things like it's ok to come into a fight slightly late, it's ok to leave a fight and come back in, never jump blind into anything, always jump at optimal or greater, knowing how to use angular velocity on the overview to identify incoming threats, and always be alined to something at all times. If you just err on the side of caution, you'll do just fine... (except at the end of the fight...if there's a disengage, always be the last to leave, and be willing to sacrifice your 12M cruiser for someone's 55M battlecruiser) | ||

i just installed the game 2 hours ago, got invited to their corp and somebody send me a 21day trial. then i asked in their channel "scbw" how to repair my ship, somebody invited me to a conversation.. he told me to come to his place for a repair so i jumped to him through 15 gates.. after 10minutes i arrived and he killed me. (for me it just looked like i got repaired and "re-spawned" in the starting area, because my armors and structure were back at 100%) after that i got kicked without anybody messaging me what happened, i felt like an idiot... how should i know that we are in war with somebody/him, i was just about to read the guides in their bulletin. why did nobody ask me what happened before i got kicked? i have to say some of you are really retarded, i dont know who did it but this is not my fault... a disappointed tl user | ||

That "person" in scbw has a nifty red icon by his name, if one where to mouse over it you would be quickly informed that he is a war target. Now, Scbw is an open channel, so we can't do much about it. In fact, I am pretty sure the tutorial tells you how to repair, reading is important my friend Why would you use a public channel once your in corp? I even told you not to use it. Did you notice that guy was not in corp? I wonder why. And to let you know, we've invite plenty of people during wartime when they first started and yet, they have seemed to flourish. Why didn't you? Now, you must be pretty oblivious to many things, as you did not know we where in a war. | ||

and as i told you i thought in scbw are only teamliquid members but you did already close our conversation so i thought what a strange person, writes 2 sentences to me and closes the conversation not giving me the chance to answer im going to say it again, THIS IS NOT MY FAULT I NEVER EXPECTED ANYBODY TO KILL ME. | ||

It's kinda common sense and reading comprehension. | ||
