In all seriousness this is a perfect example of why large entities are the worst possible thing for new players to join, you will actively be mocked and potentially punished for learning and understanding the game. + Show Spoiler + Hi Guys, I was looking into the idea of organizing a drake fleet comprised of drakes and stealth bombers. The fleet would consist ideally of 6 drakes fit with heavy assault missiles and 2 bombers fit with bomb launchers and warp scramblers. The fleet would mainly patrol/stay in low sec space where pirating is common. The 6 drakes would sit in a safe somewhere off grid while the stealth bombers hunted for targets. Once the stealth bombers get within the drakes' optimal range of a target, we would all warp in on the stealth bombers. The stealth bombers would warp scramble the targets while the drakes began shooting. The stealth bombers would also launch the bombs to kill the drones and piss off the people we are shooting at. Ideailly we would be hunting pirate fleets that are camping the gate. We could kill the pirates for the fun or...if you'd like, become the pirates. If this sounds like a good idea please message me back with your feedback/suggestions. This fleet will be a suicide fleet meaning that you should not expect to survive. Certain things to note: 1. While drakes are ideal, you may bring your battleships as well. I specify drakes for this fleet mainly because they look cool when they launch their missiles. 2. Like I said, you will die. Do not bring your expensive super fit ship. 3. I was looking into systems like Tama as possible targets for the fleet. If you have better systems that pirates frequently visit please message me. Finally I would like to stress that this is still in the planning phase. I am sending you all this message to test the water to see if this is something you guys would be interested in doing. I think it would be pretty fun and really cool to see swarms of missiles coming out of our drakes. Another idea(though likely a more risky one) is to set up an improvised pipebomb type of experiment where we all have battleships with smartbombs and we warp in on targets at zero designated by our stealthbombers which will immediately warp off grid. | ||
