So according to this, right now Minmatar is 1.0-1.2k per LP and Gallente is 1.5-1.7k per LP (looking at buy orders in Jita).
I just joined a little over a couple weeks ago. Does anyone know why there is this big difference right now, considering Minmatar have been stuck in T1 for a while? Do you guys predict that Minmatar isk/LP ratio will go up the longer it stays T1?
The most reasonable conclusion I can come up with, is that Minmatar FW store items flooded the market when they were winning and above T1, but as I said I just came back a couple weeks ago. It just seems like the isk/lp should've gone up by now.

That is kind of how it works. When a faction is doing well, all of the farmers are going to be there, and everyone is making more LP. The market gets flooded, soon supply is greater than demand, and prices depreciate. Now when any faction is at T1 for a long period of time, most if not all of the farmers will have left that faction. There is less LP being made, so at some point demand will rise above supply. Obviously you will see a price increase. The trick to truly making your LP be 'worth more' is to farm the shit of of a faction at T4 / T5- and then sit on your LP for a long enough amount of time to see that faction go T1 and stay there. At some point, the LP will start gaining value.
Currently I am making 1.6k LP on my minny FW stuff. They have been at T1 for some time, and in some markets- you can make a killing.

How u getting 1.6k LP D= you must be liquidating rly slowly. If not, there's a bit of isk to be made hauling whatever/wherever ur selling to that market.

No I am selling to buys, and liquidating 2mil LP is pretty easy. The market can easily handle it. I wouldn't trust those websites a ton... I just quickly do my own searching. Looking at what you show there, I would be very skeptical. Because I was getting better numbers on many items that are not listed there.

I finally won runescape and miss the late game pvp to the point that I want to join eve (its more similar than you think). Please send help.

I am curious how you find the similar? I have played both, and IMO runescape doesn't hold a candle to EvE in any way.

I was referring solely to the late game pvp, which is a neutered but still viable comparison to eve pvp, not the game as a whole. I make the comparison in regards to the politics and spies and back stabbing involved, not the game play.

Eve and runescape are the only games where I've ever had the shakes while pvping (played around late RS1 -> early RS2, so this must have been 10+ years ago)
In both games you definitely have the chance for 'real' loss

Bet you were big into trimming armor huh?

I would actually run around a low-leveled (~40ish iirc) mage character and steal people's rune sets
fire strike them to make them think i'm not dangerous at all then burst them with fire blasts once low, #1 strat
