Won't the repper cap you out? I used a fit with and 800mm plate instead, with genolutions and some other cap implants it had just enough. o' and I put 1 te instead of triple heat sink, EANM > DCU, plus some t2 rigs worth the price.

o yea derp, the tank was paper thin with a 800 plate tho iirc.

Tank back in SB was a single LSE and a DCU.
now THAT is a paper thin tank. I think I got 3shot by a autocannon nado.

Based BBQ used to flex just DCU

it was really questionable before TE nerfs, maybe you can make it work with double t2 locus (I was running triple aux thruster for maximum troll potential, worse than Chessur's posting. however it is pretty funny when you break a stiletto's long point orbit).

Ahh...but what is there any real reason to use omen vs nomen? Cost difference seems minimal.
EDIT - I thought that nomen was available on Market as per EVEMon giving it a base price of 8.1M ISK, now I see that it is a LP store item from Amarr faction. I suppose that makes a bit more sense then... That said, 240,000 is a lot of LP! Will it be 240,000 per ship or does 240,000 get access to purchasing replacements in case of vaporization? This is more and more looking like an "endgame" setup for people who can quickly run level 4-5 missions for the LP...am I correct in this?

For a newish player who will be losing them somewhat frequently, it's better to learn on a ship that costs half as much. Once you get the feel of it and survive some silly fights, then you can begin to use the better version and feel confident. For many new players just keeping up with the FC's orders and managing your modules + heat + drones + plus positioning takes lots of pracitce. It did for me at least. A nomen is a juicy target, and our fits are not tanky. So even a small mistake can mean death. I was a very slow learner when it came to eve, the time I spent learning and flying cheap stuff was well spent.

You can convert LP to isk, therefore LP = isk. So the 240,000 LP might well be more than 8.1m isk, making it cheaper for you to sell the LP for >8.1m isk and then buy the nomen for 8.1m isk and turn out a profit overall.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way for nomens to enter the marketplace in the first place is to be bought with LP (unless they are blueprint-able)? I actually do not see any for sale currently in my region and there are buy offers of 45M for them.
In any case I will chill with the vanilla Omen for the nonce...

Generally you want to go to Jita to buy stuff.

Never use the 'base price' from EVEMon for anything.

Our brave TL & EvE-o forum battlewarlords, what's our current status against the RLML nerf? Is this a 100% sure thing without turning back? Anyways, be strong; Chessur and Michael keeping the thread bumped errrday

Based on the fact that Kil2's responses to criticisms came straight from the Twilight Zone, I'd say RLML's are getting guttered no matter what happens.
