The Cynabal is a ship with stats and capabilities way beyond what other ships can emulate. That doesn't make autocannons good. If you ever use a Cynabal with autocannons, you're using a Cynabal despite that it has autocannons. I agree in general that the platform is more important than the weapon system, but there aren't any medium autocannon platforms that are good at nano - the Cynabal is the only one that ever has been, and its capability has been cut down with the TE nerf. | ||

My statement was aimed mostly at Firebolt saying "why use autos when you can use lasers", which is a rather simplistic way of looking at things. | ||
