tldr. killed rhea and thanatos in oddelulf.

So i was doing my standard carebear check routine and saw this pretty big signature around station 2 @ oddelulf. To anyone who is not familiar with that station just needs to know that it has like 50km undock range in every direction. Back to the signature. I go take a closer look just thinking it's just another capital sitting outside the station. When i land closer i see republic fleet firetail burning off the station making a safe spot and i decide to follow it by continuously scanning it down and warping to it at 10km. After like 10 minutes firetail warps off. I remember the pilot from like year back for being capital pilot so i decide to look inside station 2 with ueberlisk. Who knew, there is his/her cyno alt docked inside. Better leave my alt sitting at the insta that i followed him into.

This is when things get interesting. I continue doing my own business mostly being afk and i notice a wolf being naughty doing a mission that i killed him in yesterday. I undock my loki from station 2 and warp to kill it. Well it dies and while doing that a cane comes into local and starts doing a mission. My links are still sitting at the insta so i warp ueber to it to get warpin for the cane. While in warp i see a cyno lighting up and rhea pops @ station 2 while i promptly warp right past it.
I keep spamming dscan and see rhea docking up. It undocks and i cross my fingers that the pilot is retarded and uses his insta for no reason(50km undock). PADAM TSS, rhea lands 20km off my combat loki and the game is on.

I instantly log my 3rd account(salty) to provide extra dps and support incase something funny happens. And funny did happen. Suddenly thanatos pops in through the same cyno rhea did and joins the fray. At the same time Eharkan appears back from afk and comes help. It's combat loki + 2 100mn tengus and things are looking good. We slowly break down the rhea and it turns out pretty much empty. Then it's just the matter of holding down the thanatos until our friends @ molden heath come for the kill. Thanatos did get both the tengus jammed with split ec-900s but loki kept the point until they regained control. Thanatos pilot logged off leaving it's tank running and it takes a while to take him down but nothing fancy happens at this point and it just eventually dies.

It's just another story how following your gut feeling can bring funny results :D.
