I'll one up you.
Itll spike until a month or two after changes. Then inexplicably, even with reduced collection, it will magically begin to plummet to exactly the levels prior announcement, for absolutely no other reason aside from my Unified Eve Player Theory*.
* UEPT simply states that eve players, generally considered on average to be unable to click and breathe at the same time, are idiots (once again on average), and operate in the complete opposite of the normal laws of economics, such that the actual true goal is to minimize potential profit in any scenario. This theory is also applicable to pvp, where the lack of cognitive ability can be easily proven by fit listings on battleclinic.com

Suddenly, all of my experiences with Eve make sense. I'm a believer.

Battle Report of April 5th, 3:45 to 5:45 (EVE Time)
So beforehand Chessur was doing something but had to go afk. I came on and was just fooling around when I saw an Exequror going gate to gate. I chased it but was a bit slow to react and predicted wrong which direction it went after going system to system. Then I met a Tengu and Tornado pair, which I politely declined. I heard Chessur was coming back so I chatted with other hatch members about a particular secret special rage-inducing Tengu fit. When Chessur got back he offered a trip to L-C, with EC- as a first stop along the way. I joined up along with Tango and the inexperienced but brave Callis. Oracle, two Drakes and a Rifter versus whatever will come our way.
Arriving at EC-, we were met with a bunch of random gate camping ships, which included a rapier, taranis, condor, dramiel, and other ships. After lingering around we decided to play with the Rapier and force it to jump back into highsec. We landed at our optimals and opened fire. It's shields went down. It still held its ground, perhaps it was armor tanked? It's armor went down. It continued to hold its ground. It's hull... well, it died. Torrinos gate in EC- the best place to go afk, confirm?
Local didn't change much and nobody came to engage us, so opting out on the elite pvp that gate camping is we decided to head for L-C. It was rather uneventful along the way, a Dominix blindly jumped into us (although blindly being they probably saw us coming from far away via alliance intel channel) and we lit it up. A Deimos came in and almost did was diemost's do, but it managed to jump out in low armor due to our Rifter unable to chase due to it dying to the Dominix. After looting the Domi (in which I managed to procure a fantastic selection of cap boosters and heavy drones), Chessur kills a noobship and we entered L-C...
We were quickly greeted by the Deimos pilot now in a Harbinger playing docking games as it waited for its friends to gather and form up a fleet. It warped around, perhaps checking to see if we would spike local, but alas, we truly only had three combat ships.

Soon enough round one was set. They undocked in a staggered pattern with a Tempest, Oneiros, Hurricane, and some other ship(s) I can't recall. We shot at the Cane and it quickly redocked before the first missile hit. We then switched to the Oneiros, which stuck around until it was in low armor and then redocked as well. We then switched to the Tempest (an armor tempest?), which stuck around until the Oneiros undocked and began repair it. We then returned to the Oneiros, which then docked once again, then back to the Tempest, which docked as well. We sat around for a little bit, seeing random ships on directional scan, but otherwise was forced to wait as local leveled out at around 22 versus our 3 combat ships.
The enemy then undocked a flurry of ships including the friendly Tempest, an Arazu (previously the Deimos, Harbinger, and Oneiros pilot), the Hurricane, a scary Nightmare, and another ship or two I can't recall. Their dps took our Oracle down so we warped off to reform. Now during this time we were noticing a Bhaalgorn on dscan. It was coming in and out of an offgrid safe(s), preparing to get a good warp in on us.
We warped back to the station at range but were forced off eventually due to the newly added Apocalypse Navy Issue! Someone said the Arazu aggressed so we opened fire on it and almost killed it... then it docked. It was way before the aggression timer would have worn off, so it seems that it wasn't aggressed after all. With the Nightmare and Navy Apoc, we tried coming in different ways but were forced off repeatedly. Eventually the Navy Apoc warped off and reshipped (or logged off, not sure).
+ Show Spoiler +[04:47:08] Sathras > run bitches xD
On one occasion we took an aggressive stance, hotlocked our weapons and came in at short range to try to force the Nightmare to redock so we could play the field a little but we ended up accidentally killing a hurricane that tried to be a hero and burn straight as us. Another Deimos also undocked but didn't really do much as far as I know. At this point the Bhaalgorn was managing to get some pretty good warp ins on us. We took an aggressive stance and went for the Bhaalgorn on one occasion and ended up almost killing it. However with an added Oracle to the enemy fleet (yeah their dps was getting a bit ridiculous) we couldn't seal the deal and the Bhaalgorn managed to get away in low armor. We repeated the dance, hoping to bag the Bhaalgorn this time. We were doing well on it but I got a little bit too close and it nuked my capacitor to 0% in one neut cycle and I had to lose point and warp out.
Also note that the whole time their Nightmare and Oracle were hitting us from well over 140+ km. The itch to kill such shamelessly fit ships was agonizing. They continued to undock more t2 ships, a loki, a tengu on dscan, along with their three pirate/faction battleships, so we reluctantly conceded and retreated. We had lost -- the field was theirs and they held their sov.

As we left local they sent the Bhaalgorn after us as the rest of them used jumpbridges to get ahead. The Bhaalgorn chatted us up in local

With our ego hurt, hurt real deep, we continued on our way back home. Soon enough they cut us off and Chessur in his mighty Oracle was forced to fend for himself as he valiantly held the ground as the two Drakes got away (lol this is backwards). With his amazing expertise he managed to get away himself against all odds. Tango got safe, and I warped to the wrong gate and died.
Anyways, as I'm finishing writing this, the rest of us has arrived safely back home ready to fight another day.

Today was rather, interesting, for lack of a better word. I started off the day by losing a Drake while alt tabbed, in the time it took me to tab out and back I was probed down and then tackled by an Interceptor and a couple AFs, and I died in a fire.
A little while later I am heading out to EC- to find another fight, and on the 93P gate in Saranen I found a Myrmidon, which jumped into 93P as I landed on my on grid safe. Mysticus happened to also be warping to the gate in a Drake and due to lack of coordination we both jump through. I crash back to gate so I can point him if he jumps back into Saranen, but he aggressed on Mysticus, so I gatecrashed and started to tear into the Myrm before it could deaggress and jump back into Saranen. However, it didn't deaggress and instead exploded on the gate at zero.
I continue on to EC-, and find a small gang consisting of a Hurricane, Astarte, and Drake. I call it out on TS, and soon Jed in his Tornado of Justice and Mysticus in his Crow of Shame start heading to EC- to help. The Hurricane is a good ways off the gate so I warp to a nearby warp bubble and burn at the Cane. He doesn't take bait, but the Astarte starts to burn towards me, so I bait him out away from the gate, and bring Jed in to help finish him. In the middle of this, Mysticus warps to the gate at zero, and dies. Jed and I finish the Astarte, but we don't get the amazing storyline loot because I was entering low shields at this point due to the Hurricane and the Drake shooting me this whole time, and I had to warp out.
Some time passes and Chessur finds a gang in EC-, reportedly consisting of a couple Hurricanes, a couple Drakes, a Deimos and a Talos. We gather up a fleet consisting of an Oracle piloted by Chessur, two Drakes piloted by Jed and myself, and two Rifters piloted by Mysticus and Callis. We decide to stagger into EC- so as not to spook them, so Jed, Mysticus, and myself jump into EC- and get a warp-in. Callis, being brand new to PvP, also jumps in and warps to the gate at zero, where he dies. The gang starts to prime Jed, so Chessur warps in his oracle and we start to go to work on their fleet, starting with a Talos piloted by the Astarte pilot from earlier. As we begin to go to work on the rest of their fleet, Mysticus smashes a Manticore like a true Hero Rifter, however, he dies soon after. We mop up their fleet handily, with only the loss of two rifters. This BR is messed up, and includes everything that happened in EC- starting with my death several hours earlier, but the kills from this battle happened from 1:38-1:43.
After we got done mopping up their fleet, the Myrm pilot from earlier warps to the gate at zero, and gets webbed by the Drakes and scrammed by a re-shipped Mysticus, and it goes down before it can get to the gate. Having defended Hatchery Sov in EC-, we decided to head to CR- and see if anyone was home, but a Rupture landed on an on-grid safe as we were warping to GM. With only Mysticus in his Rifter and Chessur in his Oracle, they somehow manage to kill the Rupture with Mysticus getting the hero tackle.
CR- happened to be empty, and later on we had a roam which lead to a deaggressed, super tanked Rapier dying at zero on the Torrinos gate, ganking a Dominix on a gate, and playing station games with FA for about an hour and a half, which resulted in this lovely chat log.

As we were heading home to Saranen they tried to catch us, we managed to evade them until Not Orious warped to the wrong gate and got smashed by their gang.

To be fair, I wouldn't warp to the gate at zero blindly. Whomever I was told to warp to (they had been aggressed, maybe Rakwa?) had a warp in happened to be about 30km off the gate. I wasn't expecting to open in a bubble within optimal and as I was trying to get my bearings and start moving I was one shot by an arti-cane I inadvertently did not have transversal on.
Basically I am a bad and lost a crow and pod for nothing but vov
