after a few month break from eve i decided to get back on it 3 days ago and probably produced the most shamefull loss ever yesterday. doing basicly everything wrong you can only imagine - i dont even know where to start.
i think i should beginn on the whole situation i was in:
1. thing to note is that im in a shitty health condition and i am on heavy medication which makes me sleepy all day long and screws my reaction. (did i mention that i lost my job 4 weeks ago too beside my health condition.... yeah life is shit and it will hit you the face even when you are on the ground already!)
2. i was on a eve marathon session for 8horurs something and pretty fucking tired
3. even knowing i shouldnt drink, i was pretty well drunk

yes those are TWO medium shieldbooster and an c-type invuln. overall the whole screenshot is about 2.5b to 3b ISK and a work of about ~3h.
at about 6am local time i was about to round it all up when a tengu aggressed me on gate. i was more than happy to return the fire but once he saw that i was no easy prey (he was in 100mn and me too ofc) he warped off because i failed to hold point. that wasnt a reall problem anyway because he could have just deagressed and jumped before i would be able to kill him.
a few minutes later, me beeing back at a station he tauntet me in local that he would fight and is waiting on the sun for me.
i took the bait even knowing hes a PL guy and probably either drops cyno shit on me or has friends around.
but me beeing the idiot i am - thought i am only one jump from sara, HA. i can bring backup too.
so i warped to sun to engage and called for help in chat.
shortly after i landed on sun, he arrived too and we locked each other and started the fight.
that was the point where i lost complete controll of any human logic and cooridnation.
- i was not on coms
- i was in my own fleet
- i didnt know the current coms pw
- i didnt have my headphones plugged in
- i tried to log another account of mine and bring a cane with neuts
- and ofc at last i was tired as fuck, on meds and drunk even as i was told to not drink on meds...
it didnt take long for local to +1 and a cynabal landed on 0. i was now double webbed, pointed and getting neuted from the cyna.

i guess this was the most terrible fail i produced EVER.
even the immediate response in chat from michael offering help (thanks for trying^^) didnt change any of my failing.
in the end i didnt even shoot at the tengu most of the time because i was bussy plugging in my headphones, getting on coms, starting additional clients and just beeing bad.
to round it up i at least managed to eject in time so i didnt lose any subsystem skill (all are at 5 so it would have been a sure loss of 3d training) and the PL guys had really bad dropluck and didnt get shit from the kill!

Also tob, i went on an exploration spree all weekend, and found pretty much nothing but wormholes every system, and you go to tartoken and find a 6/10 and a 4/10 in the same system. Wtf :|

Its not unreasonable to think that maybe the PL member took a cursory look at your kb record, saw your history of engaging in questionable situations and realized it was, in all likelihood, a free tengu kill if he could just hold tackle.
It is painfully obvious that your decision-making is too poor to fly tengus in pvp situations. Its been oft repeated that there are other ships to solo in that A) more people will engage B) not be as punishing if you end up doing something dumb (if you feel like you need a 700m+ isk hull and module advantage to be on a level playing field with other people, that's generally not a positive sign).
But of course you won't take my advice -- on some subtle level, you think you know what you're doing (this is really the only explanation for thinking "I might need backup", then not logging on comms before initiating the fight -- you thought you'd be able to take him, didn't you?)
PS just judging by the km damages, and the fact that the tengu was shooting scourge at you, and the fact you were double webbed, why not web and kill the cynabal that is brawling you down?
PPS from personal experience, eve is one of the worst games to play when depressed -- unless you're suicide ganking hulks/mackinaws, which is pretty therapeutic.

I finally got my first A type invuln \o/
Also -a- failed pretty hard at killing Aeth and I in the second 8/10 in the system. The instant the rapier pulls probes local spikes with about 13 guys in a couple lokis, a stiletto, a falcon, lach, and some cynas and vagas. I was dual boxing a tengu/nado and Aeth didn't have a point or faction ammo, so we just start bouncing safes. Aeth decides to warp to the gate at 0 to try and get out and lands on a stiletto, but the stiletto just sits there and lets him warp off. In his infinite wisdom, he does the exact same thing a second time, but instead of doing nothing, this time the stiletto jumps to the other side and lets aeth warp off yet again :S. After that, I suppose there were things to kill in ec, so they just let us do the 8/10, even though they most certainly had probed the 8/10 and could have just jumped in something just to harass us. vOv

Pilots with a Global Criminal Countdown in high security space will be prevented from warping (if they are in any ship other than a capsule). This is to prevent a tactic declared to be an exploit recently.
Well that's one way to take care of the problem lol.

Then dscan shows a stilletto: allign ewok, one red square on overview, and the image froze. Seconds pass by, feel like a min for me, then i see another pic, my pod is being pointed, not that it matters theres like 2 bubbles there. Next pic station.
So once again, worse pilot in "hatch" dies. Next time my laptop might met the floor.

The wormhole theft shit has been tallied. Our total score was around 27b buy order value, maybe 28+ actual value. After expenses this has turned into 8.4b cash/assets for Johnny and I and 2.4b cash for each of the gentlemen who assisted us. The guys who we relieved of their wealth estimated the total damage at 35b which is not unreasonable, we lost a very expensive orca and iteron in here, were forced to blow up a chimera and self destruct a lot of random ships. Had things gone to plan it could have potentially been near 40b total theft value. However, no plan survives its execution and :Johnny:. I'll take my 8.4b for a nights work.
