Hehe, some roles sound fun, but I'd like to propose an other one:

Zombie - once killed, comes back the next night and takes one person of his choice to his chilly grave.

Can be 1 or 2. Good role to take vengeance on someone.

Since Mafia too has a medic now, another role could be:

The diseased - once killed (either by a Vigi or Mafia) will infect the person killing him, who in turn, will die on next night, unless cured by either a medic or a corrupt doc. If a Medic protects the diseased, he will be cured permanently, and loses his abilities to infect. The diseased only has 5 days to live, and dies by himself on 5th night.

Also, count me into this one.

7 mafia vs 52 townies? where are the other 13 people :p
you should totally add more roles like
the plant: you can plant a clue that incriminates another player once a night
the teacher: you can "hold night class" once per game. once you "hold night class" (during the night) you will be informed of your students (max 4? so you know 4 innocent townies). however, the mafia can have on their hitlist "teacher," and if you are holding class, you and all your students die. if you aren't holding class, the hit fails.
the sniper: has a kill power of 1. must send in own hit. does not leave behind clues. (maybe overpowered)
the stalker: can stalk one person per night. will be informed if the stalkee is active during the night. if the stalker is killed, the person he is stalking is killed as well (and vice versa) unless the stalkee is mafia.
etc.

Caller, one thing that would be an interesting option is rather than tell the town how many mafia there are, say something like "there are between 7 and 11 mafia" or the like. Makes it harder to guess how many there are, or have the just reg mafia flip as green, and special role mafia flips as special role, or the like. Makes it alot harder to a degree, but means you can have less mafia and make it challenging.

Anarchists act as reverse suicide bombers, so yes, medics will die as would the doc.
The NRA member's interpretation is correct.
Rock Star is like Mayor, he knows the BGs and vice versa and he is immune to conversion.
Godfather does lose the conversion attempt if the target is protected.
Yes the Silencer has 5 uses but there will be clues pointing to the silencer's actions this time, i.e.
"Ace and Caller were sitting in a room chillaxing. Suddenly, a large monster-wurm creature that breathed fire and hoarded treasure snuck out of the darkness in the room and with one hand sliced Caller's head off while burning Ace's lips off. The lips won't heal for another day."
guess who these clues are pointing to ^^

Village Idiot is just his own faction. However, he can associate with townies to make a deal with them, or vice versa.

Village Idiot:
Can the Godfather recruit the Village Idiot or does immunity from night killing also mean immunity from conversion? If he can be recruited, is he still immune from night kills? If so, would a post-recruitment Village Idiot just trample over NRA members and Anarchists? A converted Village idiot seems to be pretty tricky. You might want to consider making him immune to conversion as well...

Is he immune from the suicide bomber? If so, what happens if the suicide bomber attempts to detonate on him?

Can he invite everyone playing for an all night party?

The godfather cannot recruit the Village Idiot.
The suicide bomber does not die and he will be usable the following day/night.
Yes, the NRA member can kill the godfather if he tries to recruit ^^
