I've been playing exclusively .51, and Centaur is my favorite hero.
Given the blink dagger nerf and Centaur's masochistic tendancy to take a lot of hits, is it still a worthwhile item for him?
I'm a little torn.
On the pro-side, it's still a fine item for initiation and ganking, since getting into stomp range is going to be painful for most heroes early game no matter what, and without blink, hitting stomps is rather difficult.
On the con side, it's not an item that helps with farming, combat, or survivability. I could get BoT earlier, perserverance for a start on a bfury, or treads for the same price, any of which would make me a more effecient farmer and tank. Given that the Blink dagger can now be used only in very specific locations where you haven't been hit by creeps, which is almost never, considering the way I play Centaur.
Also, how do you feel about the blink nerf overall?
On one hand here, it was almost impossible to play high-level DotA without it, and having an item that is near mandatory isn't the idea (besides boots of course). The dagger remains a good choice on many heroes (such as Centaur and Earthshaker), without being a no-brainer on any hero.
On the other hand, it has been nerfed into near oblivion by this, as well as near completely negating its stated role as an escape mechanism.
Here, I have to say I really don't like the nerf. It was a really fun item before, and now it's a niggling item with a stupid restriction. I think a cost increase would be a better nerf. I would rather pay $4000 for an unrestriced blink then $2150 for a neutered blink.
Also, DotA mechanics are retarded. I don't get why the mechanics have to be so aggressively weird that it's impossible for even an experienced player to guess how skills will interact.

All this talk about Tiny makes me want to play him again and practice the imba tosses I really need to work on that lol, even though Transcend was mass-missing avalanches, he still played Tiny 10 times better than I ever could (ok I miss less avalanches but that doesn't really matter )

So a couple of general questions, if you're getting pressured on all lanes, it's mid to late game, your team has no map control, there's only a limited amount of creep money to be farmed, what do you do as a support hero? Just get some leftover neutrals and stay close to the heroes who need to farm?
Also, what are some tips to coming back from behind, i know that's really general so anything is fine.

even with the nerf, blink is still a necessary item on certain heroes, and i would say centaurs dependency on the item still remains.
you're wrong when you say it's main use was for an escape mechanism. yes, it was good for escaping per-nerf for any hero, but its main use was for initiation for heroes like centaur. he's easily a good initiator just blink in a stomp. ursa blink in and stomp. mag blink in ult. etc.
especially on bigger scale battles, a good initiation can win you the battle. and for the heroes that can't initiate without being right next to the enemies, blink is the perfect item for it.
imo i think the nerf was a very good choice. i think someone stated this earlier but if you're seeing like 3-4 blinks on each team in every game, it kind of tells you how ridiculously good it is. way too good so it should just be kept like this.
even with the 3-second delay before you can use it again, especially if you're in the forest it's pretty damn easy to use it to escape by making use of fog of war, try to trick them while buying time to blink away.

I know escape wasn't it's primary intent, just pointing out that it is called "Kelen's Dagger of Escape", but it isn't much of an escape mechanism anymore!

i have a question for ack/judicator/bb about cm
i never really play her, but after her mana aura became global do people level that early? whenever i play her i just max out her stun and nuke first so im not sure how to level her skills now. i can see the benefits of the global, like for example if you had a sf solo-ing mid it would give him good mana regen to raze more often etc

Honestly, I didn't miss THAT many ava's, although I did miss important ones, that's why it showed out more. Tossing can be used to initiate and save yourself, it's so cool when you save yourself by throwing your enemies away, like what I did to Devaz when he was about to stun me as Centaur. =3 IMO, the only heroes I can play now decently (not TL standard, mind you, I can play any hero TL standard =3) are Tiny and Lina.

Watched that Centaur replay on previous page. Very nice. He was very lucky with the Regen, meant he could farm twice as much. Very nice played. Its interesting that the first creeps he attacks are pulled ones. I tend to go kill the easy spawn at level 1 first, then go to bottom spawn and pull there. If the easy spawn has ranged creeps and a melee, you can use the ramp to micro, so ranged creeps get more misses.

ward and ward hard, you wont win otherwise, leave the creeps to your carry so he/she doesnt fall too far behind.

unless her MS and skills (all of them) gets buffed, she will be incredibly trashy and be subpar to the standard support heroes in terms of support. And yes, depending on your lanes, I would max out aura first, nova is like...185 for incredibly shit damage. She got phased out before -xl even hit the table and before the first big buff to sent in .37, that should give you an idea on how much work she needs to be remotely playable in top level play.

There's a big thread on the beta forums about buffing CM. Wouldn't bother with her until we do. Jugg/cm still works in 6.51, but thats about the only time I'd use her.

no one likes meepo? the 1-man-gang-bang-hero or meepo makunochi lozl . here are some of my replays playing as meepo. to me meepo is imba especially his 2nd skill ( poof) at level 4 poof with 80 mana 14secs cooldown u can kill all creep waves that came to ur lane.
i recommend you guys play meepo for fun and owning noobs and bm. i'm guessing he will be nerf next patch since almost every game i played he owns.
skill build: at level 1 get net but ur priority is to max poof 1st when at lvl 7 u can farm easily. item build: meka, rob, treads, and vladimirs and ur all set optional items are lothars or HOT.
