They probably messed it up and its like 3.5 seconds or something. His ult seems way later too. I was good at kunkka and couldnt play glad for shit :S

Correction: When S2 coded gladiator's pitfall, they took the 0.6 cast time from the dota database. However, because torrent is actually based on the channel spell Blizzard, it has no cast time. Therefore the cast time on pitfall and torrent are different. This has already been brought up in the mechanics section of the HoN forums. I hope it gets fixed next patch. FYI the cast time is like 0.4 seconds longer for pitfall.

Oh and why people put Radiance on a pedestal (never mind the actual effectiveness); 5150 for Radiance, plus other shit let's say 6000 gold effectively. There's only 8250 gold by the 16.5 minute mark. That's 55% of the creeps on average or ~72% of the available gold by the 16.5 minutes.

psh that's if you're noob and already don't have 3 kills under your belt.

radiance is nice when you have to chase ppl, and also when you're too lazy to last hit to farm.

By getting rad you insta improve your usefulness in a team battle.

saying "you're fucking bad noob never fucking play moonqueen again you fucking noob" for 20 mins straight should warrant a suspension imo. now saying something like "you're fucking bad, next time dont rush doombringer with your initial gold and not get any items beforehand because you'll fucking die you trash" is good.

i don't know what kind of punishments they hand out, but less non-constructive rage is always good tho. =D

lol I said "youre fucking bad nigga" at one point and he filed a complaint for racism too...I didn't mean it in a racist way.

I never gave constructive criticism because he was just so retarded and useless HOW WAS HE HAVING A HIGHER PSR THAN ME LOL WTF

Also all he did that game was whine about how sad we were and we had bad manner (my friend and I actually cursed him off since he sucked). He also said I was bad when I was 5 levels ahead of everyone else and was carrying the team until it got to late game and pretty much my entire team sucked balls and I couldn't do anything about it. The fact that like 3 people on the team had disables didnt help either as I was targetted first.

I fucking hate this game sometimes lol

I think everything is pointing to this doesn't really matter as much as it first seemed. Just possibly less gold taken away when you die, and sometimes encouraging people to buy asap instead of saving gold.

Wow. Entire first post got cleaned out and formatted. Looks so damn clean now lol.

Can anyone tell me the basis for drafting this days? I used to play competitive ban draft last time but all we did was either sk lina sf shadow priest spectre and the like. Now the entire drafting and banning is so boggled that i cant make sense out of it.

Has S2 said anything about upcoming plans for HoN? All I see in the horizon is the Stormspirit port and that can't be it.

Did they say when they are going to implement the award thing you see in match stats?
Or the Hero builder?
Any plans for more maps or the oh-so-amazing map editor?
Are we going to get a PSR reset somewhere in the future or is this for life?

Also how's the HoN World Cup coming along?

I doubt there'll be a proper hero builder, there'll just be the current DREAM thing where you suggest heroes. Map editor is being worked on, and I can't see there being a PSR reset anytime soon. I'd quite like match awards soon, but I can't imagine that being high priority.

I just read something that made me laugh out loud: s2 is advertising stats reset where you need to actually pay 20$ to reset your stats. How can they sell a game like this? then introduce a retardedly flawed rap system that possibly results in you the customer losing your account or getting a temp ban. I'm certain that this was discussed in this thread but its nearly 1000 pages long so- I normally read the previous posts but ... this would take me days . I think HoN is great but there are so many issues; battle.net is just 50 times better.

And is there any news on them introducing the TSR system? Seems so much more appropriate/less flawed than kdr/psr :o.

HoN's interface is better than battle.net's in almost every imaginable way. Whatever, you're smoking, can I have some?

Do you have any idea how the report system works? I haven't heard of one person that has been unjustly banned from it.
