boots you can choose whatever, i personally like BoTs or treads, i don't think he really needs the phase cuz he has really high movespeed and i'd rather get more AS for the dps after that, it's really flexible. the main core items id consider are probably geometers bane, sny (forget what its called), or deso | ||

Played about 4 games with him recently; all I went mid, went boots/bottle (not starting) then farmed tankish items. Going both shaman and hotbl seems too tankish. Usually I go frostburn (400 hp, +ms, slow, great item) and after I go geo/frost, or just stay at frostburn and go for shieldbreaker. Games are over about this point now. What's the fully tiered-out cd build? Boots, Geo, Frost, Savage, Shield... and heart? Symbol? | ||

HotBL, Headdress, Barbed Armor, then Geometer's or Frostburn. For boots, Ghost work better than Steam, imo. If you trade in your boots for Post Haste, I think Heart is a nice 6th item to finish out the build. yeah, it really depends on your playstyle though and how your team plays. if you're going to be ganking a ton with cd, phase is probably better cuz you're gonna needa chase them down. if your team is really actively ganking, imo treads are better. also if teamfights start really early on, treads are better, cuz you're not gonna be chasing down people as much as just attacking enemies as they're getting ganked or in team fights | ||

I used to get steamboots on him cuz I thought "I have a passive that gives me movespeed, blahblahblah." Then I realized that I only get that movespeed when people cast things on me, and if I've got my ult on and barbed armor up they don't tend to cast on me very much. Mostly they run away. soo yea | ||

I usually can't drain damage well with cd - even with my tank items the 700 range seems a bit too small as enemy carries I faced were archer, arachna and my pub team is too scared to intitiate T_T. | ||

Headdress is close to 2k cheaper than Shrunken head and gives significant regen and permanent protection. Consider that when you're making your decision. Tank-build CD is meant to outlast his opponents, not deal burst damage. Shrunken shines for burst damage. | ||

probably because im still not that advanced into the game but why other than ghost marchers or post haste are the other boots even important? i feel like ghost marchers is the best choice because you get that extra boost which can really help escape or kill, depending on the situation ofc | ||
