Anyways, I setup a stream for dota 2 beta and got my system specs up to be able to do it at a watchable quality. Not hd, but watchable. I really don't know where to post the stream since the tl directions are a little out of date (they say sc2 general). Tonight I'll be streaming several hours of spectating, as I want to get a feel for the flow of the game. I'm amenable to changing music/interacting, etc. I was going to do recent high level replays then I realized that a new hero just came out (lifestealer) and some people might want to see him. Still not sure which is better, it's a little hard to tell if a live game is worth watching as I don't think you can filter it to only display CM or high level. (nevermind on the link, i figured out where to post it) ...and somehow alch is acting like he's in wtf mode. | ||

I think it is essential to up stats early on because the skeletons and the split arrows dont do anything early game. The ult can be super powerful when it is well placed which is one of the most difficult aspects of FA. But you can get hattricks with it Also, when you play mid and gank sidelanes, volley and then immediately ult almost always gives a kill. Getting farm is a lot easier than with a melee carry. Duck boots and stat points will give you quite some damage. I always go for ghost marchers because you will often be chasing to make a volley. I also seem to be able to get out of dangerous situations quite well despite the low hp. Some games I never die. With skeletons you can farm neutrals very fast and you can also tower push alone and take down a tower. Late game with Frostburn and when you have leveled split fire it's like having a runed axe. There arent that many heroes that are pretty hard carries and that can gank like FA. While fragile it does have a good lane presence early game with volley. | ||

Also go for your first main item, after boots, bottle(if your mid) power supply. Go shield breaker. Trust me many kills shall be yours. | ||

Edit: Just for kicks actually looked at Nomes guide and it is exceptionally poor, and a byproduct of many patches before when skills, items and meta shifts were different. You might think it's always good to just follow Nomes guide whatever the hero, but it really is not  | ||
