bans: es/sd/aa/wr/morphling/am Scourge first pick clock/TH/Furion Sent invoker/vs/Weaver Second ban Lich/Bat/Puck/CK Then lastly Sent Lina/Panda Scourge WD/SK On paper how does this look? Who do you think won the drafting? How would you have laned this? Note that one person was afk so they had to pick for him, the SK last pick. To clarify, sand king. + Show Spoiler + Scourge thought that weaver would've went bottom so they trilaned th/wd/sk. This is how it actually looked Top: Weaver vs Furion Invoker vs Clock Lina/VS vs TH/WD/SK Jungle panda With clock as initiator and TH/SK blink follow up and with no creeps there cask as well, team fight on paper should've went to scourge? Furion went aghs and was planning to down towers quickly for tower advantage. None of scourge heroes needed big farm and Furion was going to act as the carry. Invoker dropped early on, so it became 4v5. On paper, at this point with it being 4v5 early on, who should've won?

Weaver matches up with Furion pretty well and Furion can't just leave the lane. Invoker has CW locked with a stick. THD/WD/SK is stupid, Lina can just farm with DS and put the VS on roam against a Furion/CW. Invoker drops, Panda takes over mid, still free against CW. Position dependent line up against a VS/Weaver? No thanks.

No thanks. Yeah they guessed wrong and it didn't look good afterward. They thought Weaver would be at bottom. The clockwerk had to be taken because the player can only play clock. Like literally can only play one hero. Had to first pick him or he'd be useless. lololol I'm not very familiar with the scene, but how does clock look against weaver and furion vs invoke? Would that have been a better switch up to salvage the situation? Who would you have picked for the final choice without knowing the players ability? What's a hard solo good against weaver that wasn't banned? If they HAD guessed right and it was the trilane vs weaver and furion vs the dual, would that have been alright? What could have salvaged the game? So many questions. Watching people play -cm is interesting, whether it be wrong or right. I think the biggest handicap for scourge was the pub that was afk and didn't talk and the one player could only play one hero. To be fair, the clock did well ganking. But that's related to player skill and not the heroes themselves. Everything went down the hill in team fights though, weak coordination for a lineup that requires it. Weaver picked off people. Furion got mael/aghs/treads at like a little over 20 and was beginning to drop towers and putting the pressure on each lanes. However, after losing team fight after team fight, weaver, despite having a shitty start, got the radi at 25 and then scourge just didn't know what to do anymore LOL. Clock kept engaging and getting rolled, grieved, and then the game was over. Also DotA2 needs more updates. Tired of seeing AM every game and the opposing team going qq. Edit: Also it was a Tide Hunter not Twin Headed, not sure if I mistyped in my prev post somewhere.
