Some of them do obviously, but most of them are now so different, and meta-game is so different that I don't think it would work. Do you think it would be possible to be successful with getting one item build and going with it on every single hero? I mean, there are items that don't hurt you (that much), regardless of which hero you picked (Puzzlebox is a great example here). Could be fun. If you manage to come up with a list of such items, I'm willing to test it out over the course of 10-20 games at least. | ||

As an old school dota player looking to try the others before Dota2 comes out it is now time for HoN. I tried LoL but I didn't like the fact that everyone was so unbelievably terrible at the lower levels and the fact I wouldn't be truly competitive until I leveled to 30 and got runes etc. I just want to login and play with the only factors being skill. | ||

Oh man, PB leg has so much pwnage potential in theory  The problem I see is doing Blink->Taunt->PB->Manaburn. That's a lot of stuff you need to do in a relatively small time frame to squeeze in as many minion hits as possible during taunt. Overall, it could be even more epic than Parasite infesting his PB minions. | ||

i actually think most hon heroes dont need lvl1 items, because the stat gain of the heroes are so broken lol | ||
