I can't see a decent argument for not making qwer standard at all. Sure it'll be a problem for players that are used to the ridiculous random dota1 hotkeys, but for them you can just have another hotkey setting. For all the players that aren't from dota qwer will be 100x better.

I'm gonna miss Mali . S2 really did do a good job with a lot of heroes and it'll suck to leave them behind. No panda really sucks.

Why is the healthbar segmented like that?
Also, anyone know how this was leaked? or was it an official release?

There were first posted on Chinese Dota site afaik. So i think these aren't official.
I still can't understand why we have 3 different threads for Dota II pretty much. (even though one is mostly about the tournament, but same info in every thread. oh well..)

Ahh... I'm just wondering how old the build was.
Anyone think that the damage shown is just an average, and if you hover your mouse over it it'll display the damage range? Or am I just clutching at straws here.

Think the heroes might have an absolute damage value now, I saw a post on 4chan by an alleged beta tester, and he said that there was an indicator of when creeps were in range to deny/lasthit. Pure speculation and rumors tho.

like it would say 40~60 but you'd hit from 45~55 95% of the time
or was that only creep bounty
Thats creep bounty and omg theres like 3 different dota 2 threads atm ><. Theres this, the tournament one and some one with some guys putting pictures in the OP. We need to keep em together xD.

I know it makes no sense not to have QWER but I LOVE having the keys all over the place, gives my hand something to do rather than rest on qwer.
And besides why are people QQing about how Dota 2, of course its going to look different from Dota 1 its a completely different engine... I guess it will play the same having Icefrog behind it.

In the Doom Bringer SS you can see Devour with E hotkey which is default dota key and not QWER keys.

why are some people seeing enemy manabars as something bad? It's not like it's information you otherwise wouldn't be able to get as you can select them to see their mana it just makes it more readily available.

It's not like it's information you otherwise wouldn't be able to get as you can select them to see their mana it just makes it more readily available. If you ever troll on over to the HoN forums there is 2 camps of people, either those who want to make the game artificially more difficult ie no range indicators etc make it more like DotA and those who think making it more accessible would please the masses which is why i like s2's solution which is to have mods to fill in the gap.
The whole deal is even if you are able to get the info it requires you to click on them vs just glance around, it comes into juking and running from fights uncertainty causes more chaos to tame chaos you must have more skill. In reality probably due to limitations things like range indicators mana bars etc could not be implemented, but HARDCORE ppl insist on making exact copies of dota.
although what i notice is the dmg isn't a range 40-50 so no RNG don't care for that makes last hits to certian
The cam distance is further out more of the are is revealed along with the hero is larger.

k, judging by that vengeful screenshot, dota2 doesn't use a qwer setup. C for comet, really? Hopefully it's customizable. qwer is far superior, I don't seriously understand an argument against it.
Also I hope you can customize player colours in-game.. my number one gripe with dota1. Not being able to tell the difference between lb/grey/pink is brutal. At least in HoN there is a mod for it :< black/white/red/neon blue/neon green ftw.

yeah i use q for hold, w e s f for skills 1 2 3rd ult, and cuz of hon a for taunt, space for attack. Not being able to keep that layout will be balls mostly the space for attack.
