I would trade anyone in the game's super for ryu's though, that's a terrible argument. Dude has the most ridiculous super in the game by far.

Not to mention being top tier without ever needing to land an Ultra. In 3s, Akuma didn't even have EX specials and was still good. 3s Akuma is Hugo's nightmare.
i'm a bit concerned with having Guy and Cody as characters. Guy's moves are too similar to El Fuerte in a way, and Cody... well, he wore a prison garb and threw rocks picked up from the ground.
Problem: Capcom is milking us dry, they shouldn't be charging for this AT ALL!
'Solution: Consider the possibility that you may very well be stupid. I'm not trying to insult you, I say this out of genuine concern. If you actually believe Super Street Fighter IV should be given to you for free, you might be a certifiable idiot, and should probably stop reading now so you can go see a doctor.'
"But what about MEEE? I work hard! My money is valuable!"
Well you know how it feels then, don't you, motherfucker? You work hard for the money you spend on games, and somebody else worked just as hard so you could have them to play. Why don't you want them to get paid for that? What makes you so special, little miss snowflake?

lol so true
i put 100 hours into SF4 in the 3 months I had it this summer -- that's 10x more value then most $60 games these days.

This is my point.
You guys are honestly saying you wouldn't trade one of the raging demons for a shinku hadouken or something else?
i wouldn't say the input difficulty is a valid complaint at all, considering you can kara it VERY EASILY off f+mp and have the move out before f+mp is even in it's active frames. it should take about 10 seconds to get this down in practice.
of course raging demon sucks compared to something hit confirmable, but thats the price you pay for having a character who is top tier regardless of his super/ultra.
yo CM, for the cr.mk into demon, you only do 3 inputs. down + mk + lp lp back + lk + fp
Little practice and it's pretty easy to do. It's an odd motion to get used to doing on reaction though, so you gotta be expecting it to react in time til you get really used to it.
There are some legitimately difficult execution things in sf4, but they tend to not be necessary at all.
I had something like 400 hours clocked on sf4 last I checked. Might have left it on for a few nights through, and I had a roommate + gf playing it as well, but it's probably one of the best entertainment investments I've ever made looking at $/hr lol
More importantly, is anyone else gonna be at SB4? I wanna meet up with some TLers if people are going!

i just got a ps3 and SF4... i know the fightstick is used on tourneys but is it actually easier? Ive also unlocked all the characters except for seth but i've still yet to setup my internet connection to get my ass handed online. I'm considering getting a fightstick but im not that good yet. So far i learned a lot from the hard trial mode connecting combos even tho i know a lot of em are impossible to do in a real game. Hopefully i wont suck too bad when i go online

Lmao. Bushin flip is not the run, and besides that wheres the similarity? He can do a dash after a combo?? Dude's a fuckin ninja with hi top nikes come on. And Cody. That fool's been dirty since final fight. He'd shoot you with an uzi then throw it at you. I'm sure he's not in prison in SSF4 storyline. Shouldnt matter. Just be glad nigga doesn't have tornado vc
That's because Sagat is the original Boss in street fighter and according to cannon was like undefeated warrior until ryu came along and got lucky.
Just look at the guy, he's like 7 feet tall of muscle and he's arguably the best muy thai kickboxer in the world, AND he can throw fireballs. Also he's pretty evil and set on revenge.
according to the sf4 story sagat is not evil at all hes all like ah hello ryu my only worthwhile opponent now we must fight for the glory of battle have at u
New openings and endings, the street fighter team are “man enough” to admit the quality wasn’t there the first time around, and has promised they will be improved.
Different or changed rival/pre-match dialog.
Along with new Ultras and tweaks, older characters will be getting new specials or normals.
Indestructible will be gone. Ono has “learned his lesson”
As the final boss, people who hate Seth, will hate him even more now. He will be harder but not, “unfair hard.”
New stages will certainly be added, but certain older ones will receive new elements or details.
No fighters will be locked, everyone will be accessible from the start.
No form of World Tour mode from Alpha 3 planned anytime soon. If enough people request it for a sequel, it's possible.
Frame data has been changed on certain character's FA, to better balance out certain things. The FA system will NOT see any major changes.

I forgot. When was the last time Sagat wasn't top tier? It seems every SF game I play with him, he's at the top tier.
i dont think he was top tier in alphas
he was in at least one of them... not all of them though

svc chaos lolllllllllllllllllllllll
he's good at controlling space (especially on SF4). controlling space is the best thing on street fighter games (well, not sf3...).
