Glad to see 3s character. 3s characters gameplay is the best of the bunch. Remy is the best charge projectile variant. High and low projectile, noncharging dash attack, instant anywhere hit confirm super. Hugo, the best slow grappler. Disgusting corner pressure and fakes. Not sure how much of a nerf the 3s characters will be undergoing from 3s to SSF4.

Except neither of those were rumored to be returning =[ I think the rumored characters will provide pretty good representation from 3s, though it's arguable that Urien and Yun would have been better choices.

His super is also plain better than most characters' supers. There isn't a character in this game who wouldn't rather use EX moves and FADCs than supers, in any case. When are you going to make an intelligent point?

damn conspiracy against a tiny minority of characters with supers that are similar to their ultras, like really its only abel, akuma, blanka, balrog, chunli, cammy, honda, feilong, guile, gouken, bison, ryu, sagat, sakura, zangief.

Have all those characters really been confirmed? I though beyond T.Hawk DeeJay and Juri was still pure rumors.

The hype levels around the announcement are fun to see without a doubt though

I would honestly be disappointed with even more alpha characters.

Afaik those are definitely unconfirmed as there's no announcement outside of T.Hawk+Juri in the interviews and DeeJay in Famitsu (or was it Arcadia?) I think, plus related videos. Please link if there's information on anyone else though. Around 8 new characters are planned, though that's just an estimate from Ono.

There being no planned arcade release is a pretty big letdown imo though. wtf why is that a good idea? Could they not reuse old cabinets even if a straight software download upgrade is impossible?

They aren't confirmed but I think people are lending more credibility to that list released on eventhubs since they have gotten a couple things right so far.

You can actually combo everyone's super/ultra or at least hit confirm or use it when enemy is in blockstun or something. Akuma can't (only FA).
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)

Not to mention using c.MK to buffer Demon against any jump-in, giving you a free Super/Ultra.

zangief is different. And he can green hand in and then ultra/super or whatever else easy setups that are unavoidable.
With akuma you can't wakeup super/ultra or jump in super/ultra, they just jump. And also zangief's specials don't have attack inputs until the end, so there is no risk of landing a jab (blocked or not) and making your shit whiff. lets see you hit zangief out of his specials when you are point blank or even jump away.

I'm not saying akuma's ultra isn't good, because it is. It has it's uses but its far less useful than most other specials.

And don't tell me to practice my timing better or whatever, I am aware of this. because online its a joke with latency for one, and for two its much more difficult to do Down + mk, jab, jab, forward/backward, hk in a split second then just doing hadoken+all punches or whatever. This is my point.

You guys are honestly saying you wouldn't trade one of the raging demons for a shinku hadouken or something else?

The input difficulty(and related latency) cards are really two of the most scrubby arguments you could pull when talking about balance, barring extreme cases.
