Right now it's Amir vs Hsien, big big 3s money match.

Edit: and apparently they don't show all of it

Edit 2: apparently that was the wrong stream and now there's a "real deal" stream... Amir seems to be playing Ken for some reason -.-?

Edit 3: Amir's ken reminds me of KO's playstyle. Hyper aggressive and gets away with a lot of shit, he seems to have a really easy time stopping Genei-jin >_>

Edit 4: Amir falls behind 3-4 and he switches to Chun, he just raped Hsien now it's 4-4

OMFG YOU'RE JOKING

They stopped the stream when the score was tied 9-9....

Edit: confirmed Hsien wins 10-9, close series... maybe if Amir played Chun from the beginning?

ST qualifiers right now, Afro Legends is sick O_o

Its funny that they play money matches because in the evo rules it specifically says not gambling of any kind
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)

AGH I MISSED LIVE 3S AT EVO?!

Oh, sounds like they didn't show the finals, so oh well . Probably wouldn't have been anywhere near as insane as SBO was, anyway .

I saw some nice MvC2 money matches on Youtube a while ago: cl0ckw0rk vs Dark Prince, for $3000 or something. I wonder if that's the same cl0ckw0rk who used to play SCBW?

Cool. I figured you probably knew him, what with the name "striderdoom" and all .

Hahaha, I just read this on shoryuken.com (emphasis mine):

WOW, demon hyo rapes dp first game, perfects him the second game, and dp resets the game before it got a chance to say perfect lol. This was all on the big screen. Youtube that shit!

There is a new podcast w/ Rockefeller, KSK, Pyrolee, Sextaro, ReNIC, and Gootecks while they were at Evo. They talk about SBO and Evo.

They got KSK on the podcast?! *downloads*

Edit: apparently most of the EVO matches (except the finals) for all games are here:

Edit 2: here are the two Demon Hyo vs DPC games up on Youtube (including the reset one ):

Wow, apparently there's a new Yun combo that does 80-90%. Remember when we (you, Haji, and I) were watchng SBO live, and they cut away from Pyrolee's game vs Tackle Maeda (Yun)? Apparently right at that moment he got owned by said 80-90% Yun combo T_T. You can combo into it from the common jab-short-strong starter, and it works on every character, crouching or standing. It's low-mp, low-mk, kara-hp (kara with mp), low-mk, kara-hp, etc. (I've seen it once or twice on Youtube). Then at the end they do a mixup that's very difficult to stop.

T_T

Rest of the SBO stories were pretty funny, though .

Pyrolee: the first little surprise that came across our way was: KSK gave us a room to stay in, but we had to share it with Mago and some other Japanese players we didn't even know. So we woke up, and when we opened the door, Mago was just laying there in his underwear, and his balls were hanging out! And like, he didn't even care!

Here's the "Keeper-jin" combo done by BOSS. I remember seeing it on SRK a week or two before SBO and people just shrugged it off as "Boss messing around". I never thought it was something completely new or that damaging.

Looks like he messed up halfway through and just went to mp shoulders. Too bad they didn't record the lifebar so the damage isn't shown.

oh wow my brother showed me that combo last month and we both thought he was just messing around as well >___<

I had no idea that it was some new ass thing. So keeper creates the SGGK that made Chunli even more imba than before (and essentially gave MOV the win over Nuki in last year's SBO), and now this Genei Jin combo that will eventually make the char even more ridiculous as it becomes perfected.

He's right up there with Dirty when it comes to discovering these crazy ass things (dirty analyzed the distribution of Chun li's burst kick special move for all three strengths, as well as figured out some rules that govern oro's stone/junk SA's object draw)

-____- crazy.

dirty's analysis of the burst kick
analysis of the back+hp-> burst kick antiair
part 2 of the antiair analysis

I don't think he's made the Oro SA stuff public atm.
